Palace Resorts has purchased the Italian Hotel and Resort chain Baglioni Hotels and Resorts

As we reported last month Palace Resorts has purchased the Italian Hotel and Resort chain Baglioni Hotels and Resorts. Last month we looked the resorts that Baglioni Owns and this month we will look at the hotels owned by Palace and Baglioni. Palace Resorts will operate the Baglioni chain as a separate entity but use it as a stepping stone into the European market.

 

 

Baglioni owns hotels in Milan, Rome, Florence London, and Venice. We will take a look at the Venice, Rome, and Florence hotels this month. The hotels are not all inclusive but are all 5 star+ hotels.

 

The first hotel we will look at is the one in Venice. It is the Baglioni Hotel Luna. It is located in the center of Venice and is one of the top 5 star hotels in Venice with a wide range of rooms and suites. It also has an award winning restaurant. It is located a short distance from the activities and attractions of Venice.

 

 

Accommodations at the hotel include the Deluxe Suite with a street view and accommodates 3 guests, the Goldani Family Suite with Street View accommodating 4 guests with 2 bedrooms, the Lagoon View Suite accommodating 3 guests, the Tiziano lagoon View Suite accommodating 3 guests, the Giorgione Terrace Suite with a rooftop terrace and view of the Lagoon accommodating 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children, the Sansovino 1 bedroom Lagoon View Suite accommodating 2 guests, the San Giorgio Terrace Suite with a terrace overlooking San Giorgio Island and accommodating 2 guests, the San Giorgio Terrace 2 bedroom Family Suite with a terrace overlooking San Giorgio Island and accommodating 2 adults and 2 children, finally the Sansovino 2 bedroom family Terrace Suite with view of the basin and San Giorgio Island. All Suites come with a 4 course dinner for two with stays of 3 nights or more, mini bar filled once a day, 50 minute Spa treatment, champagne in room at check-in. All rooms and suites have free WIFI.

 

 

Dining at the Hotel consists of the award winning Canova Restaurant, the Italian classic Bistrot restaurant, there is the Canova Bar with snacks and the hotel is within walking distance of some of the best Venetian dining options and drinking establishments.

 

 

As far as activities there is the yacht tour of the Veneto Coast, the Glass blowing workshop, Gondola Tour. It is just steps from St. Marks Sq. This hotel is the perfect place for a great wedding, and they have a wedding dept. to help with the planning.

Here they have, the Deluxe Suite with view of the surrounding streets and accommodation 2 guests, the Dolce Vita Suite with a view of the surrounding streets and accommodating 2 guests, the Regina suite with 1 or 2 bedrooms and a view of the surrounding streets accommodating 2 or 4 guests, the Ludovisi Suite, a corner Suite with one or two bedrooms accommodating up to 5 guests and a view of the surrounding streets, the Family Suite with either 2 or 3 bedrooms and a view of the surrounding streets and accommodating up to 5 guests, the Margherita Terrace Suite with small terrace and a view of the surrounding streets with accommodations for 2 guests, finally the Roman Penthouse luxury Apt. with 360 degree views of the city, a large terrace holding up to 6 guests. The last hotel we will look at this month is the Baglioni hotel located in Florence, the Relais Santa Croce. The Relais Santa Croce on Via Ghibellina is a sumptuous noble mansion in historic Santa Croce, Florence’s most intimate and authentic district. Built in the mid 1700’s, this lavishly furnished residence with frescoed ceilings offers 24 impeccable rooms and suites. A favorite haunt of artists and art lovers, Santa Croce is a lively little quarter steeped in history and tradition, perfect to reach in a few minutes the Michelangelo’s house, not to mention Piazza della Signoria, Palazzo Vecchio and the Uffizi Gallery. This is a small intimate luxury hotel.

 

 

The accommodations consist of rooms and Suites. The Suites consist of the Street view Florentine Suite accommodating 2 guests, the 1 bedroom De Pepi Suite with a street view and accommodating 2 adults and 2 children, the Da Verrazzano Suite with 2 living areas and 1 bedroom including a small private Gym and a street view accommodating 2 adults and 2 children, the Santa Croce 2 bedroom Royal Suite with street view and accommodating 4 adults and 4 children. All accommodations come with Free WIFI, all Suites come with private round trip airport transfers, concierge service, one 4 course dinner for 2, complimentary breakfast, and free mini bar.

 

Dining includes the Guelfi Ghibellini restaurant. This is an intimate restaurant with local Tuscan flavor. An in-suite dining experience from the 3 Michelin Star restaurant Enoteca Pinchiorri. There are also a lot of exciting dining options close by.
