This month we will begin our journey of the AM Resorts family resorts, Dreams. These resorts are fantastic AAA 4 Diamond rated family resorts located throughout the Caribbean, Mexico, Central America, Spain and their newest one in Cofu Greece. We are going to start with their outlying resorts and then move to Mexico and the Caribbean. This month we are going to start with the 3 Dreams Resorts located in Spain, two in the Spanish Canary Islands and one on the Spanish Island of Mallorca.
We will start with the Dreams Calvia Resort located on the Spanish Island of Mallorca. This resort is close to one of the best golf courses on the island and also close to Marineland Mallorca. It also overlooks a beautiful bay. It is the perfect place to stay while exploring the island of Mallorca known as one of the Spanish playgrounds. The resort caters to families with a ton of activities for children.
Accommodations are made up of both regular accommodations and Preferred Club accommodations starting with the Garden View Room with king bed or 2 double beds. We then have the Seaview Room with king bed or two double beds, Superior Garden View king bed or two double beds and a sleeper sofa. We then move to the Garden View Jr. Suite with more room containing a King bed or two double beds. The last in the regular room category is the Garden View Suite with bedroom, living room, small kitchen and large balcony. We now move to the Preferred Club accommodations. These are the Concierge level. First, we have the Preferred Club Sea View Double Room with a King bed or two Double beds. Next, we have 2 adult only categories, the Preferred Club Sea View Deluxe with King Bed, the Preferred Club Sea View Grand Deluxe with King Bed. This is a slightly larger Room. Next, we have the Preferred Club Premium Sea View Room with King Bed, the Preferred Club Jr Suite Sea View with King Bed and a Double Sofa Bed. The last category is the Preferred Club Sea View Suite with Bedroom, Living room, and large patio. All accommodations come with upgraded amenities and 24 Hr. Room Service, free WIFI and Mini-Bar refreshed once a day.
Dining offers a wide selection of choices with 2 International Buffets and 5 A La Carte restaurants the A La Carte choices are, Burger Grill, Spanish, Mediterranean, Asian, and Italian. As far as drinks there are a Lobby Bar, a Pool Bar, a coffee bar, a healthy drink bar, A Preferred Club Bar. Alcohol is top shelf. There is also 24 Hr. Room Service.
Activities consist of nearby golf, 4 pools, Kids Club, and a Teen Club, Daily activities, Theme parties, Music shows, nightly entertainment, a fitness center with Yoga, Pilates, and biking. They also have a great Wedding Dept.
This is a great resort for clients that want to experience the island of Mallorca but also want the all-inclusive experience
The next resort we will look at is the Dreams Lanzarote Playa Dorado located on the Island of Lanzarote, one of the Canary Islands. This resort offers a unique experience on an island known for its whitewashed villages, rugged coastline, and the Timinfaya National Park with the Fire Mountains. There are also vineyards with wine tasting. The resort caters to families with its waterpark and activities for all ages. The Resort sits on a bluff with fantastic ocean views.
Accommodations consist of a Garden View Double Room with one King bed and a Single Bed, Double Room Pool View with one King bed and one Single Bed, a Garden View Family Room with four Double Beds that can be made into two King Beds, and a Sea View Family Bed with four Double beds that can be made into two King beds. We now move into the Preferred Club level accommodations. These consist of Preferred Club Double with King or two Double beds, Preferred Club Pool View With King or two Double beds, Preferred Club Sea View With King or two Double beds, Preferred Club Sea View connecting room with King or two Double beds, and Preferred Club Swim-up with King bed or two Double beds. All accommodations come with upgraded amenities, free WIFI, 24 Hr. Room Service, and a Mini-Bar refreshed once a day.
Dining offers one International Buffet and 4 A La Carte restaurants with a snack bar and a Coffee Bar. The 4 A La Carte restaurants consist of a Steakhouse, Seafood, Pan Asian, and a Poolside Grill. Bars are made up of a Lobby Bar, two Poolside Bars, Sports Bar, a Beach Bar, a Swim-up Bar, and a Preferred Club Swim-up Bar. Alcohol is top shelf. There is also 24 Hr. Room Service.
Activities abound at this family friendly resort with 9 pools, one with a water park, daily activities for the whole family, a kids Club, ages 4-12 and a teen zone. There is wine tasting and Paella tasting, Daily and nightly shows, a fantastic Spa and Fitness Center with Yoga, Pilates, and stretching classes, and a great Wedding Dept. There are a number of offsite Island tours that can be set up.
This resort is a great base camp for those that want to explore the island, or it can be a destination by itself for some great family time.
The last resort we are going to look at this month is another Canary Island Dreams Resort, the Dreams Jardin Tropical Resort located on the Island of Tenerife and on the Costa Adeje. It has an Arabic design and a water theme. The island of Tenerife is one of the more popular Canary Islands. Hiking, Biking, and Water is the Theme of the island and the resort.
The accommodations at this resort consist of the Garden View Double with one King bed or two Double beds, the Pool View Double with one King Bed or two Double beds, the Garden View Jr. suite with one King or two Double beds, the Sea View Double with one King bed or two double beds. They then have the Preferred Club level accommodations starting with the Preferred Club Garden View Suite with one King or two Double beds and large patio, then the Preferred Club Sea View Suite with one King or two Double beds, the Preferred Club Sea View Jr. Suite with one King or two Double beds, the Preferred Club Sea View Double with one King bed or two Double beds, and the Preferred Club Street View Jr. Suite. All accommodations come with upgraded amenities, 24 Hr. Room Service, Free WIFI, and Mini Bar refreshed daily.
As far as dining there is a variety of choices with an International Buffet, and 7 A La Carte restaurants. The A La Carte choices consist of, Seafood, Spanish, Gourmet Cuisine with wine pairing, Healthy Wraps and Salads, Steakhouse, Italian. Bars consist of, Poolside Snack Bar, Poolside Bar, Cocktail Bar, Beach Club Bar, Coffee Bar, and a Lobby Bar. Alcohol is top shelf.
Activities are centered around the water and biking with two pools, a beautiful beach, Beach Club and a complete Bike Center. There are also daily activities, a Kids Club ages 4-12 and a Teen Club ages 13-17. There is nightly entertainment and Theme nights. For those so inclined there is a fantastic Spa and a full Fitness Center. They do have a wonderful Wedding Dept.
This resort would be great for those who have in interest in the Canary Islands and Tenerife is one of the most popular of the Canary Islands.
