Travel with Peace of Mind on Insight Vacations’ New Domestic Escapes

Local Expert, Canyon Tim, educates guests of The Grand Canyon’s history and geology

New York, N.Y. – July 6, 2020:  The world may not be open just yet, but we can still experience the magic of travel while we have our own backyard to explore. Now is an opportune time for travelers to visit places in the USA that they’ve always wanted to discover as Insight Vacations introduces three new seven-day domestic itineraries in a new travel style called Escapes. These close to home, shorter trips, specially curated for Americans, allow travelers to get back adventuring without having to travel internationally while they enjoy meaningful interactions with local suppliers who need it most.

While our guests start making travel plans again, Insight’s top priority is their well-being. Fully appreciating guests’ understandable concerns in this new post COVID-19 world of traveling, we have implemented The Travel Corporation’s (TTC) new well-being protocols and hygiene standards. This includes smaller groups of no more than 22 guests, that allows for more personal space on the uniquely customized luxury motor coaches with extra legroom, so guests can travel with a sociable group and still maintain their physical distance.

“We are getting back out there to explore America and we look forward to you and your travelers reigniting their passion for traveling in style,” said Jon Grutzner, President of Insight Vacations.  “Our guests are always our top priority and we want them to have peace of mind when traveling, which now includes enhanced hygiene protocols.”

Insight Vacations is also investing in a newly conceived, dedicated Wellbeing Director on every trip with more than 20 guests, working alongside our expertly trained Travel Directors.

The Wellbeing Director will monitor all hygiene protocol and physical distancing measures, monitor daily coach sanitization, perform supplier quality checks ensuring all partners meet expected hygiene standards and local regulations, ensure luggage handles are sanitized during loading and unloading of luggage, keep guests up-to-date on local regulations and ensure compliance and be available 24/7 for any questions or concerns around hygiene and well-being.

Insight is offering a $99 deposit per person for new bookings made between June 15, 2020 – September 15, 2020. This offer is a temporary reduction from the standard deposit of $200 and is applicable for travel from September 1, 2020 – October 31, 2021. The deposit holds a flexibility promise which means guests are free to change their travel plans up to 30 days before the departure of their journey. Guests who have traveled with Insight Vacations and TTC’s sister brands can benefit from a further 5% savings. Travel Advisors can recommend to their clients to book early, since space is limited on these smaller group journeys.

Like every Insight Vacation journey, our new itineraries feature the expertly crafted balance of Top Rated Highlights, Deliciously Authentic Dining and Insight Experiences, such as joining passionate Local Expert, Canyon Tim, in the Grand Canyon for an informative and special talk into the natural landmarks’ history and geology.
