Tammy Levent and Kevin Harrington Team Up for New Consumer Travel Segment, Just Go Trav!

December 18th, 2017 – Traveler extraordinaire Tammy Levent has partnered with Kevin Harrington, the original shark from Shark Tank and inventor of “As Seen on TV,”  for Just Go Trav,  a travel segment that inspires viewers to venture into the unknown. It debuts in January to 182 cities and over 30 million homes.

Just Go Trav is a four-minute vignette that introduces viewers to new destinations, travel trends and resort packages. Levent and Harrington created Just Go Trav to educate consumers so they don’t rely on the internet, which is filled with misinformation.

Levent is the CEO of Elite Travel, founder of the Travel Agent’s Success Kit (TASK) and the recipient of multiple Magellan and Travvy Awards. She was the travel expert on ABC’s Tampa’s Morning Blend lifestyle show and her autobiography, Sink Or Swim: A Survival Story, has been a worldwide inspiration.

“Tammy is a dynamic entrepreneur,” said Kevin Harrington. “She is connected to basically everyone in the industry. She is a treasure chest of knowledge and has a hands-on feeling for all of the locations she promotes. She is also an excellent TV host.”

Levent said she created Just Go Trav, “To make a difference in the industry. It is our responsibility as travel agents to use our expertise and help mentor consumers. I’m also making sure that the resorts and destinations are showcasing their product exactly as they should.”

Harrington, co-founder of the Electronic Retailers Association (ERA) and the Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO), has launched over 20 businesses that have grown to over $100 million in sales each, has been involved in more than a dozen public companies, and launched over 500 products generating more than $5 billion in sales.

Over the years, he has seen a powerful change in the television and digital marketplace. “My goals are to show the travel industry just how powerful these two marketing opportunities can be,” he said. For more information, visit http://kevinharrington.tv/.

Emmy award winner Jerry Penacoli has served as correspondent for “Extra” for 17 seasons and hosted E! Entertainment Television. Cyndi Edwards is Penacoli’s co-host at NBC’s Daytime. “Between the talents of Tammy, myself, Jerry Penacoli and Cyndi Edwards and NBC, this is such a powerful way to sell any product, especially a travel experience,” said Harrington.

The show is sponsored by such companies as Exodus Travels, Villas of Distinction, Ladera, and St. Lucia Tourism Board.
