For the first time ever, the five-star hotel will be participating in the star-studded, four-day destination event showcasing the world’s most renowned wine and spirits producers, chefs and culinary personalities.

 

 

Miami, FL (February 20, 2023) – Majestic Hotel & Spa Barcelona arrives to Miami Beach, Florida for the 22nd anniversary of The Food Network South Beach Wine & Food Festival. Each year, the national, star-studded event welcomes talents of the world’s most renowned wine and spirits producers, chefs and culinary personalities.

 

For the first time ever, the iconic, award-winning, five-star Majestic Hotel & Spa Barcelona marks its entrance as a benchmark of haute cuisine. The hotel has been a symbol of five-star hotel excellence since 1918 and member of the Leading Hotels of the World since 2015, becoming a benchmark of timeless elegance in luxury, style and nouvelle cuisine around the world. With a rich tradition behind it and 105 years of history, Majestic plays an emblematic role in the most fascinating gastronomic experiences and will join the nation’s most acclaimed chefs and top wineries from around the world. Always faithful to their farm-to-table philosophy and under direction of the hotel’s chef consultant [Michelin Star Nandu Jubany] and executive chef [David Romero], Majestic offers a unique gastronomic sharing experience, ready to delight all palates under the emblem of the highest quality and care, with an innovative and avant-garde touch. At Majestic Hotel, guests can enjoy the best views of the city from La Dolce Vitae Rooftop, the hotels crown jewel. The view is also paired with a la carte menus, curated by season with a selection of traditional Spanish and Mediterranean dishes. The hotel’s main restaurant, SOLC, is located on the 1st floor of the hotel and was designed as a tribute to the local produce used in Catalonian cuisine throughout history, offering local, seasonal, Mediterranean dishes prepared with the finest quality ingredients, delighting even the most selective palates.

The weekend with Majestic Hotel kicks off on Thursday, February 23rd with an immersive dinner experience at LEKU restaurant from 7:00 pm – 10:00 pm. Two virtuosic artists – LEKU’s Chef, Carlos Garcia and Majestic’s Chef, David Romero – both headliners, will reveal a profoundly personal approach to their region’s classics. This private event will allow invitees to both see and taste the splendor of Northern Spain just as they do.

 

Additionally, Majestic will be participating in Friday’s Best of the Best, presented by Wine Spectator and sponsored by Capital One. This event pairs over 60 of the nation’s most acclaimed chefs with more than 65 first-rate wineries from around the globe. The Fontainebleau Miami Beach sets the perfect stage on Friday February 24th  from 7:30 PM – 10:30 PM, for a swanky walkaround tasting spotlighting a superb roster of James Beard Award winners, Food & Wine Best New Chefs, and Michelin-starred restaurants alongside some of the world’s most renowned winemakers.
