Secrets St. Lucia Marks One Year with AAA Four Diamond Honor and Carnival of the Senses

Following its recent AAA Four Diamond designation, Secrets St. Lucia Resort & Spa marked its first anniversary on September 18 with Carnival of the Senses, an immersive celebration highlighting the resort’s growing role within Saint Lucia’s tourism landscape and elevated guest experience.

Held in tandem with the Saint Lucia Tourism Authority’s 2026 Saint Lucia Showcase International, the celebration brought together the Honourable Dr. Ernest Hilaire, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Tourism, Investment, Creative Industries, Culture and Information; Her Excellency Nicole Su, Ambassador of the Republic of China (Taiwan) to Saint Lucia; Thaddeus Antoine, Chairman of the Saint Lucia Tourism Authority; Louis Lewis, CEO of the Saint Lucia Tourism Authority; representatives from Mullen Real Estate Capital and Hyatt Inclusive Collection; and international travel partners.

The evening featured remarks from Jeff Mullen, President and CEO of Mullen Real Estate Capital; Dr. Hilaire; Alisteer Nelson, Director of Sales and Marketing; Carl Ainscough, General Manager; and Christophe Lorvo, Vice President of Operations for Hyatt Inclusive Collection. Speakers reflected on the resort’s successful first year, its contribution to Saint Lucia’s tourism growth, and its commitment to the local community.

Following a ceremonial ribbon-cutting, Carnival of the Senses unfolded around the resort’s main pool as a vibrant expression of Saint Lucia. Island gastronomy, rhythms, traditional dance, heritage displays, and a runway presentation by local fashion designers invited guests to experience the destination through its flavors, sounds, movement, and creativity.

“Celebrating our first anniversary alongside our recent AAA Four Diamond recognition is a testament to our exceptional team, our partners, and the warm welcome we have received from Saint Lucia,” said Ainscough. “We are proud to pair the thoughtful service of the Secrets brand with the island’s culture, natural beauty, and spirit. As we enter our second year, we look forward to creating even more meaningful connections between our guests and the destination.”

Since opening in June 2025 as Saint Lucia’s largest adults-only all-inclusive resort, Secrets St. Lucia has earned Queer Destinations certification and has become a significant local employer, with approximately 700 team members. The resort has further strengthened its ties to the island through its partnership with the Saint Lucia Kings, supporting one of the Caribbean’s most celebrated professional cricket teams and promoting national pride.

Achieving the prestigious AAA Four Diamond designation within its first year of operation reflects the resort’s elevated service, extensive amenities, and attention to the guest experience, marking a significant point of pride for the entire Secrets St. Lucia team.

Set along a clear-water Caribbean beach, the 355-room resort features swim-out access or a private plunge pool in every ground-floor accommodation, alongside nine restaurants, seven bars and lounges, three pools, and Secrets Spa. From sunset dining over the water at Morgan’s Pier to convenient access to Pigeon Island, Rodney Bay, and the famous Gros Islet Friday Night Jump-Up, the resort pairs private beachfront luxury with a seamless connection to one of the Caribbean’s most captivating destinations.
