Orlando, Florida Holds the Highest Number of Domestic Rental Car Drivers for a Second Consecutive Year
Richmond, Virginia, November 2, 2023 – From east to west, Southern U.S. cities will see an abundance of rental car drivers this Thanksgiving holiday, according to travel insurance and assistance provider Allianz Partners’ Top 10 Thanksgiving Rental Car Report.
insurance provider Allianz Partners USA reviewed* car rental reservations made by Americans traveling between November 18-28, 2023 through partners that offer Allianz Rental Car Damage Protector. The company found that the top rental car locations this upcoming Thanksgiving season are Orlando, Florida (#1), Dallas, Texas (#2), Phoenix, Arizona (#3), Las Vegas, Nevada (#4), and Los Angeles (#5). The list is rounded out with a majority of Southern destinations, with Tampa, Florida (#6), Denver, Colorado (#7), Charlotte, North Carolina (#8), Miami Florida (#9) and Austin, Texas (#10), completing the top 10 respectively.
