Cancun, Mexico, 11 February 2026 — GoNexus Group, a leading experiences and mobility travel company, today announced a new executive governance model aimed at accelerating decision-making, strengthening cross-functional execution, and supporting the company’s continued technology-driven growth at global scale.
The announcement represents a key step in GoNexus Group’s evolution as it scales its digital platforms and in-destination experience ecosystem.
“GoNexus Group is entering a new stage,” said Rubén Gutiérrez, President of GoNexus Group. “To sustain our momentum, we need a leadership structure that allows us to move faster, operate smarter, and execute with clarity across all markets. This governance model is about enabling scale with discipline.”
Effective December 1, 2025, GoNexus Group implemented a governance framework aligned with its A4I Strategy — Accelerate for Impact, built on clear accountability, trust in leadership, and transversal collaboration across destinations, products, and technology platforms.
At the center of this model is the creation of the GoNexus Board, an integrated executive leadership team responsible for ensuring alignment between strategy, culture, efficiency, execution, and innovation across the organization.
The Board is structured around four strategic vice presidencies, designed to connect teams, processes, and key decisions while supporting a cohesive, high-performance operation:
- Destination & Operations Excellence: Dunesky Gonzalez, Vice President
Leads operational excellence and consistency across destinations, overseeing guest experience, omnichannel sales, and field operations.
- Growth & Strategy: Luisa Oyarzabal, Executive Vice President
Drives global growth strategy, product innovation, commercial expansion, and strategic partnerships across GoNexus Group’s platforms and markets (including NexusCube, Travel Partner Success, Hospitality and Global DMC Network).
- Corporate Services: Jesús Rocha, Executive Vice President
Oversees financial discipline, governance, scalability, data analytics, automation, and the technological backbone supporting global operations.
- People & Performance: Melisa Sordo, Vice President
Leads culture, talent development, performance management, regulatory frameworks, and responsible business practices across all teams.
This leadership structure is designed to eliminate silos, accelerate execution, and support a data-driven, tech-enabled organization operating at scale.
The governance evolution builds on the strong operational and technological momentum announced by the company in December, following a landmark fiscal year marked by rapid customer growth, geographic expansion, and significant advances in digital platforms such as NexusTours App and NexusCube.
“With this structure in place, we are well positioned to sustain our growth and continue leading innovation across the travel and traveltech ecosystem,” added Gutiérrez.
Looking ahead, GoNexus Group is focused on expanding across the Americas, preparing for future entry into Europe, and continuing to invest in automation, AI-driven personalization, and scalable travel-tech solutions—while delivering seamless, memorable in-destination experiences.
