Though they’re still taking their trips, travelers are wary about rising costs and disruptions, prompting them to insure their travel plans.

In addition to the survey insights, Squaremouth uncovered the top 5 destinations for Fall 2025. Most destinations saw an average trip cost increase, echoing the concerns of the 40% of surveyed travelers who said rising prices are their biggest pain point. Despite high prices, travelers are still choosing Spain, which had the highest price increase year-over-year, 13.4%.
