Travelsoft Pay Partners with Mastercard to Power the Next Generation of Secure, Connected Travel Payments

Tuesday, 3 March – Travelsoft Pay today announced a strategic partnership with Mastercard to enhance how payments flow through the global travel ecosystem — delivering a secure, scalable and travel-native payments infrastructure designed for modern B2B travel commerce.

This collaboration brings together Mastercard’s trusted network and technology with Travelsoft Group’s 25 years of deep travel expertise. Travelsoft’s platforms support hundreds of customers worldwide and process 50 billion euros in annual travel gross merchandise value (GMV), powering mission-critical booking and operational workflows across the industry.

Travelsoft Pay — the new payment company within the Travelsoft Group — offers a platform designed to automate pay-ins and pay-outs, reduce operational complexity, and provide travel companies with the transparency and control they need to operate at scale. Through this partnership, the platform will leverage Mastercard ’s Wholesale Program(MWP), which has been simplifying B2B payments across the travel ecosystem for over 10 years. MWP makes virtual card number (VCN)-based travel payments easier and safer, giving travel intermediaries flexible, secure, and instantly generated payments.

“Having spent 25 years creating technology that connects the global travel ecosystem, we know what our clients need — reliability, transparency, and trust,” said Christian Sabbagh, CEO of Travelsoft Group. “By combining Mastercard’s world-class technology with Travelsoft Pay’s API-first platform, we are ensuring that every buyer, supplier, and traveler can transact safely, smoothly, and confidently.”

This partnership also brings a new level of efficiency and assurance to supplier payments — ensuring that funds are protected, reconciled, and delivered seamlessly, while supporting stronger liquidity management for travel businesses across multiple countries and currencies.

“Travelsoft Pay was born from the daily realities of our clients — the travel intermediaries and suppliers who powerthis industry,” said Mary Cotugno, Managing Director at Travelsoft Pay. “We are building a cloud-native, modular platform integrated seamlessly with Travelsoft travel systems, using Mastercard’s technology to automate, scale, and modernise how money moves across borders. It’s a platform designed for travel — flexible, intelligent, and built for growth.”

“Together, Mastercard and Travelsoft Pay are enabling a secure and scalable B2B payment infrastructure that’s shaping the future of travel and payments. Our partnership is eliminating friction through empowering the entire value chain — from booking to final settlement,” said Chiara Quaia, Senior Vice President, B2B Travel atMastercard.
