The latest edition of VAX VacationAccess’ quarterly print publication, The Compass magazine, is here, and it’s all about encouraging readers to dream big — in the realm of travel and beyond. With long-form features on topics like bringing bucket list trips to life, the rising literary tourism trend — yes, Goodreads and BookTok have made reading cool again — and advice for turning travel into creative fuel, there’s plenty of content inside designed to intrigue and inspire travel advisors and their clients alike.

So many members of the travel industry have fascinating stories to share, and VAX VacationAccess loves using The Compass magazine as a venue to shine a light on the incredible travel advisors in our community. A perfect example of this can be found on page 66 of the Dream Big issue in a feature titled “Would You Go,” a story chronicling Cole Sjoholm’s impressive quest to visit all seven continents in a single calendar year (spoiler alert: he achieved his goal and it inspired him to write a book and become a travel pro along the way).

In addition to sharing advisors’ personal successes, The Compass magazine highlights their professional expertise too, and on page 36 in a feature titled “Luxury Reimagined: How To Sell the Top Brands in Travel,” we tapped luxury travel expert and industry leader Angela Hughes’ brain for her insights surrounding what ultra-luxe vacationers are looking for in 2026 and how advisors can find success in the niche. Also on the topic of helping travel pros level-up their businesses is “How AI Can Supercharge Your Business (Without Turning You Into a Robot),” a handy guide where we spoke with marketing technologist and rising travel advisor advocate Kha Ly, as well as “The Art of Handling Canceled Trips,” a piece that breaks down the tricky scenario and shares actionable advice surrounding how advisors can stay professional throughout the process.

Some people’s biggest travel dreams are centered around attending once-in-a-lifetime events, of which many are on the horizon in the months to come. Whether it’s watching their favorite musical artist perform live in a new city, cheering on their preferred sports team from the comfort of an unbelievable venue or feeling the adrenaline of a Formula 1 race as the cars whiz past them on the track, in the Dream Big issue, we get to know On Location, a premier hospitality and experiences company that’s redefining live event travel — and they work with advisors!

So many great adventures start with a dream. Look back on your favorite trips and try to remember the way that what started as a fantasy began taking shape until it became something truly amazing. At VAX VacationAccess, we’re inspired by advisors’ ability to work with their clients to bring travel dreams to life, and we’re happy to bring them content that we hope captures the magic of travel and the incredible people who help make it happen.
