“We are very pleased to collaborate with the Ministry of Tourism of Mexico on this LIVE event,” said Peter Pincus, CTC, Chief Commercial Officer of CCRA. “With a keen focus on a country where our members already generate bookings of close to 500,000 room nights annually, this event offers a stage for us to continue attracting an even greater audience of travel professionals to further boost Mexican tourism. With the participation of many of Mexico’s states and pueblos, we know that this event that will give participants the insider’s perspective into the vast and diverse country and help continue growing Mexico’s inbound tourism numbers.”
Secretary of Tourism of Mexico, Miguel Torruco Marqués said, “CCRA’s strategy to promote Mexican tourism in the US is exactly the type of initiative we need to generate incremental arrivals from the United States, which is Mexico’s largest source market. The public and private sectors contribute to the diversification of tourist activity towards the 235 main tourist attractions that our country has; particularly our 132 Magical Towns, which best represent the culture of Mexico. In this post-pandemic era, where travelers are better informed, they seek to enjoy nature and more open spaces. In addition, the benefits of educating travelers and advisors will generate traffic to all regions, in compliance with the instructions of President, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, who said that tourism is a tool for social reconciliation.”
