July 9, 2026 — Community, collaboration, and advisor growth took center stage at Land Forum 2026 as more than 220 travel professionals gathered at Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya for Avoya Travel’s annual event dedicated to strengthening relationships, sharing ideas, and investing in the future of travel advising.

As advisors navigate evolving traveler expectations, emerging technologies, and new opportunities for growth, Land Forum serves as a dedicated space to exchange ideas, deepen supplier partnerships, and gain insights that help advisors build stronger businesses. More than half of participating advisors were returning attendees, highlighting the value advisors continue to find in the relationships, education, and collaboration that define the Avoya Network.

For Kameish Stanley, Vice President of Strategic Growth at Avoya Travel, the event offered a firsthand look at the culture fueling advisor success across the Network.

“As my first official Avoya event, I was incredibly impressed by the level of engagement and collaboration throughout the week,” said Stanley. “What stood out most was the strength of the community, from advisors sharing ideas and supporting one another to the meaningful connections being built with supplier partners and the Avoya team. It was a powerful reflection of the culture that continues to drive growth across the Avoya Network.”

Beyond educational sessions and business discussions, attendees also participated in a variety of experiences designed to foster connection and community throughout the week. From a hands-on social media workshop and a sound bath led by an Avoya team member to bowling, rock climbing, and networking events across the resort, advisors, supplier partners, and Avoya staff had opportunities to build relationships both inside and outside the meeting room. These shared experiences reinforced the collaborative culture and meaningful connections that continue to fuel success across the Avoya Network.

Turning Up the Volume on Opportunity

Throughout the week, advisors participated in business-building education sessions, peer-to-peer networking opportunities, and collaborative discussions focused on growth, innovation, and strengthening client relationships. Supplier partners played an integral role in the experience, engaging directly with advisors through strategic conversations and learning opportunities designed to help both sides succeed.

During Land Forum, Avoya announced an enhanced partnership with Apple Leisure Group Vacations (ALGV) that will bring real-time resort pricing and inventory to AvoyaTravel.com through a new API integration. This enhancement strengthens Avoya’s ability to market land vacations, expands lead generation opportunities, and helps connect Independent Agencies with more qualified resort travelers.

Attendees also received updates on several technology initiatives designed to simplify advisor workflows and enhance the customer experience, including continued enhancements to Avoya Central, the upcoming 5 & Mine Dashboard now in beta, expanded adoption of the Travel Leaders Network Agent Profiler, and an upcoming one-way sync between Tern and Agent Power™ that will streamline booking status updates, payment applications, and other key advisor workflows.

Together, these partnership and technology enhancements reflect Avoya’s continued investment in equipping Independent Agencies with the resources, relationships, and opportunities they need to grow their businesses in an evolving travel marketplace.

Making an Impact Beyond Travel

Land Forum also reinforced Avoya’s commitment to making a positive impact beyond the travel industry through a partnership with the RCD Foundation. Attendees were invited to donate school supplies or contribute financially to support local students and families in the Riviera Maya community. As part of the initiative, Avoya Travel donated $2,500 to the organization.

“At AIC Hotel Group, we’re proud to partner with Avoya Travel and were honored to host the 2026 Land Forum at Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya,” said Laura Blanco, Director of Host Agency Sales, AIC Hotel Group. “Experiencing our brands firsthand gives travel advisors a deeper understanding of what makes our resorts unique and helps them confidently match their clients with the right vacation. We’re also proud that this event supported the RCD Foundation, reflecting our shared commitment to making a positive impact.”

Celebrating Success Across the Network

The event concluded with the “Music Through the Decades” Farewell Award Dinner, celebrating advisor achievement, business growth, and contributions across the Avoya Network.

Advisors were recognized across 12 award categories highlighting sales performance, growth, and excellence within the Network. Connie Rush of Creative Getaways, LLC, received the prestigious Avoya Flowerfly Award, which honors an advisor who embodies the values of integrity, professionalism, advocacy, positivity, and support for fellow advisors and the broader travel industry.

“The true value of Land Forum is seeing the strength of the Avoya community come to life,” said Mickey McBride, Vice President of Sales at Avoya Travel. “From immersive FAM experiences to the event itself, Land Forum brings together travel advisors, supplier partners, and the Avoya team to exchange ideas, share best practices, and discover new opportunities for growth. Those connections lead to stronger partnerships, more successful advisors, and thriving businesses, which is exactly why Land Forum continues to be such an impactful experience for the Avoya Network.”

As attendees returned home, they brought with them new ideas, stronger relationships, and fresh opportunities to grow their businesses, reinforcing the role Land Forum continues to play as one of the premier gatherings for collaboration, education, innovation, and advisor success across the Avoya Network.
