Alaska Awakening Offer on Spring Sailings

Travel Agent News for UnCruise Adventures Alaska Spring Program

Save $300/couple with Alaska Awakening Offer on Spring Sailings

UnCruise begins longest Alaska cruise season in history on April 6

Seattle, WA, October 25, 2018—Spring cruisers in Alaska can save $300 per cabin on Alaska Awakening departures in April and May 2019.  UnCruise Adventures opens the Alaska cruise season early with its first small ship adventure cruise departing on April 6 and claims the longest Alaska cruising season with 26 weeks of operations ending with its last departure on September 28, 2019.

The $300 per couple adventure savings ($150 per person) may be used on 2019 Alaska Awakening cruises departing April 6-May 18, 2019. Mention the code “AKAwake19” to receive the savings.  The offer is good for bookings made by December 14, 2018.

In spring 2019, UnCruise will feature 25 Alaska Awakening departures in April and May and will begin spring sailings the earliest in company history. Its fleet of seven ships carry 22-90 guests on adventure cruises exploring Alaska’s wilderness. Alaska Awakening highlights the benefits of spring and encourages visiting Southeast Alaska during the driest months of the year.

“Spring in Alaska is a favorite time of year for us,” said Captain Dan Blanchard, CEO. “Alaska is awakening from winter with longer and dryer days, and surprises abound from warm sun to wildlife.  We hope this additional savings entices more people to travel north with us next spring to experience it.”

According to Blanchard, spring scenery reveals mountaintops covered with snow extending further towards the sea, gushing waterfalls, more solitude and less tourists in port towns, and chances to see migratory gray whales and birds.  Nature’s colors start popping and bears are seen shoreside as they emerge from hibernation to feed.   Early bird cruisers to Alaska benefit from lower air and cruise prices too.

Travelers choosing an Alaska Awakening departure enjoy other perks with UnCruise. An Alaska Awakening Insider theme host joins the trip to share their intimate knowledge of the land with guests. Blanchard invites guests to join him for an invigorating pre-cruise urban hike around Juneau that he narrates with insider stories of the town’s and state’s history and culture.  Complimentary tram tickets to the top of Juneau’s Mt. Roberts are also given out.
