March 15th, 2018 – European online parking reservation leader, ParkCloud, has strengthened its collaboration with Belfast International Airport by introducing additional ancillary revenue services to support its existing parking partnership.
With a current agreement in place to offer the airport’s 6 million annual passengers the option of reserving their parking prior to travel, ParkCloud is now able to present customers with the additional convenience of pre-booking their security fast track and lounge passes alongside their parking reservation.
Priority Lane provides passengers with a dedicated track through security, ensuring once they have parked up, their journey through the airport continues to be effortless and reliable.
Alongside fast track services, passengers can also choose to purchase entry passes into the airport’s luxury Causeway Lounge. Located centrally to domestic and international boarding gates and open to all passengers travelling with any airline, on any ticket, the lounge offers its customers the opportunity to relax or work in comfort with a selection of refreshments prior to departure.
ParkCloud has worked collectively over the existing three-year contract period with the airport’s technical team to establish a fluid and efficient customer journey, recently moving to an API integration through Rezcomm in order to present dynamic pricing for drivers.
ParkCloud’s near 3 million users are able to search, browse and book parking at both the airport’s long and short stay parking facilities. The short stay car park is conveniently situated in front of the main terminal building and is ideal for business trips or short break passengers looking for a secure facility.
The airport’s long stay car park – ideal for passengers looking for a more cost-effective option for a longer travel period – is situated just a short walk from the terminal, however a shuttle bus is available on request.
Customers booking through ParkCloud’s online booking portal will also be able to choose from a number of parking products for both car parks, including super saver, last minute and advance saver options.
Speaking about the continued collaboration, Belfast International Airport’s Commercial Manager, Deirdre Graffin, said:
“It is our aim to understand our passengers and continuously work to identify the services they need to enhance their airport experience. Partnering with ParkCloud has certainly allowed us to tap into an additional window of opportunity, and as such, we are delighted to be able to provide passengers with the best choice and service when choosing to fly from Belfast International Airport.”
ParkCloud’s ancillary revenue expansion has seen significant growth over the last six months, with airport’s increasingly looking to address customer’s need to pre-plan and manage their journeys effectively – primarily through online channels.
