Just over a year after welcoming its first guests, Secrets St. Lucia Resort & Spa has yet another major accolade under its belt: Caribbean’s Leading New Resort 2026 by the World Travel Awards.
Aligned with the resort’s prestigious AAA Four Diamond designation, this recognition continues to validate the adults-only, all-inclusive resort as the island’s standout offering.
“Being named Caribbean’s Leading New Resort just over a year after opening is a tremendous honor, and it belongs to our team, whose warmth and dedication shape every guest’s stay. Saint Lucia has always been one of the world’s most romantic destinations, and we’re proud to bring that spirit to life for couples every day,” said Carleen Isidore, Associate Director of Sales and Marketing, Secrets St. Lucia Resort & Spa.
Now, Secrets St. Lucia is heading to the world stage. Following its regional win, the resort has advanced to the World Travel Awards Grand Final, where it is nominated for World’s Leading New Resort 2026 alongside winners from regions around the globe.
Voting for World’s Leading New Resort 2026 is open to travelers and industry professionals through October 30. Votes can be cast at https://www.worldtravelawards.
Opened in June 2025 as the first Secrets Resorts & Spas property in Saint Lucia, the 355-room resort brings the brand’s Unlimited-Luxury® experience to the island’s northwestern coast. A few highlights that helped make the property stand out include:
- A distinctly Saint Lucian setting: Island-inspired rooms and suites overlook surrounding mountains, Caribbean sunsets and volcanic beaches, while the resort’s location offers easy access to Pigeon Island, Rodney Bay, Gros Islet and Castries.
- Accommodations designed for an elevated escape: Every ground-floor room features either swim-out access or a private plunge pool, with Preferred Club guests gaining access to dedicated beach, pool and lounge areas.
- Wellness with a sense of place: Secrets Spa combines modern and indigenous treatments with a hydrotherapy circuit, sauna and steam room.
- The best of resort and destination: Guests can snorkel directly from the beach or venture beyond the property to experience Saint Lucia’s culture, cuisine, nightlife and natural beauty, combining the ease of an all-inclusive with opportunities to explore the island.
