Experiencing the Exquisite Wonders of Xcaret Resorts Near Playa del Carmen!

This month we are going to look at the 3 Xcaret resorts located in the Riviera Maya. They are the Hotel Xcaret, the Hotel Xcaret Arte, and the La Casa de la Playa all located south of Playa del Carmen in the Xcaret park area. These are all AAA 5 Diamond resorts. They are unique in that they are all eco friendly and include access to the 8 off-site parks that Xcaret owns. These are some of the most popular resorts in the Cancun Riviera Maya area and they book up quickly.

 

 

The first resort we will look at is the AAA 5 Diamond family all-inclusive Hotel Xcaret Mexico. This is the Xcaret Resorts first resort and is located in the Xcaret Park. Hotel Xcaret México is more than just a hotel in the Riviera Maya, it’s a hotel that celebrates joy for life and our love for Mexico.

 

 

Set in a beautiful location between the Mayan rainforest and the Caribbean Sea, Hotel Xcaret México perfectly blends in with the region’s spectacular eco-system, surprising us with breath-taking views and sophisticated facilities.

 

The 900 accommodations at this resort are rooms, Jr. Suites, and Suites. Starting with the rooms they have Garden View, River View, Ocean View and Ocean Front. All rooms have 1 king bed or 2 double beds and a sofa bed with free WIFI, upgraded Amenities, balcony with hammock, and 24 hr. room service. In the Jr. Suite category, they have a Garden River View, Adult only Ocean view, and a Spa Jr. Suite with River and Garden View. These accommodations have 1 king bed and a sofa bed with free WIFI, balcony with a hammock, upgraded amenities, and 24 hr. room service. In the Swim-up category they have a garden view swim-up, and an adult only Ocean Front Swim-up. This category has 1 king bed and a sofa bed with free WIFI, patio with a hammock, upgraded amenities, and 24 hr. room service. In the Master Suite category, there is the Family Master Suite with 3 king beds and a sofa bed, the Family Presidential Suite, and the adult only Presidential Suite with king bed or 2 double beds and a sofa bed, free WIFI, balcony with Jacuzzi and hammock, free WIFI, upgraded amenities, and 24 hr. room service.  All Suite categories come with butler service.

ining options at the resort are varied with 2 International buffets, a river boat dining option and 7 A La Carte Restaurants. First there is a Mexican Restaurant with a Michelin star chef and a fantastic tasting menu, then there is the Mexican style gondola cruising the river with a Mexican Costal menu. The 7 A la Carte dining options include Mexican, Caribbean, Japanese, Italian, International comfort food, Brazilian, Vegan, Mexican snacks like tapas with music. Each dining option is a show in itself. Bars consist of a lobby bar, 4 pool bars, one for each of the pools, a dance and music bar, an Asian cocktail bar, a rooftop bar, a spa bar, and a health bar. Don’t forget the 24 hr. room service.

This resort is a great resort for those who want a full Mexican and Mayan experience in a 5 star environment. The beach is nice but on the smaller size. The resort is an experience itself.

 

The next Xcaret Resort we will look at is the adult only AAA 5 Diamond Xcaret Arte Hotel which sits next to the Xcaret Hotel in the Xcaret Park. Their definition of adult only is age 16 and up. The resort is designed around Mexican Art and offers the same All Fun Inclusive concept, 5 star dining, and upscale accommodations.

 

Accommodations consist of Rooms, Jr. Suites, and Suites. In the room category they have Garden View and River View, Ocean View, Ocean Front, and the Swim-up Garden View Room. Last category is the 4,628 sq ft Presidential Suite with River View, Ocean View, or Ocean Front with 2 bedrooms with a King bed in one and 2 Queen beds in the other, 4 balconies with Jacuzzi and plunge pool, free WIFI, upgraded amenities, and 24 hr. room service.

 

 

Dining offers 5 star quality, a Michelin Chef and 10 dining options starting with a private tasting menu designed by some of Mexico’s top chefs, Mexican with a Michelin Chef, Chinese, Southern Mexican, Lebanese, Mediterranean, Japanese, International Comfort food, and Vegan. The last resort we will look at is the newest Xcaret Resort, the adult only boutique all-inclusive La Casa De La Playa located just south of Playa Del Carmen in the Xcaret Park. Welcome to a house boasting a taste of Mexico, nestled in the Mayan rainforest on one of the most iconic beaches in the world. This is a beautiful adult only Boutique resort.

Dining offers 5 upscale dining options, Mexican, Specialty Mexican Peruvian, Northern Mexican, and Northern Mexican as well as all the dining options at the Xcaret Hotel Mexico and the dining options at Xcaret Arte. Dining offerings are provided by some of the top Mexican Chefs in the world. Bars include the lobby bar, the Sky Bar, the Bodega Bar specializing in Tequila and Mezcal drinks, and a swim-up bar. This resort is a beautiful boutique adult only all-inclusive resort on a fantastic beach and is 5 star plus. It is not inexpensive but is well worth the cost for a true pampered Mexican experience.
