December 5th, 2018 – Sygic, the world’s leading GPS navigation provider, introduces its first app for Apple TV. People can use it to watch up to 5,000 videos in 360°, shot for Sygic by documentary filmmaker Michal Gálik.
“In the new app, people can watch up to 5,000 videos in virtual reality from 50 destinations. Among them are Prague, Barcelona, Moscow, London, Rome, Istanbul, Dubai, Hong Kong, Sydney, New York or San Francisco. You can experience for example a hot air balloon flight over temples in Cambodia, riding a Venetian gondola or one of San Francisco’s cable cars. The 360° travel videos were shot for Sygic by documentary filmmaker Michal Gálik. People can use the Apple TV remote to have a look around,” says Lukáš Nevosád, VP Travel at Sygic.
The Apple TV app is another extension of the Sygic Travel app for travelers. Apart from the 360° videos it also contains interesting tourist attractions. People can add those to their lists of favorite places and synchronize them between the mobile app or the web planner Sygic Maps. Recently, Sygic has also added support for Apple Watch.
Apple TV owners can find the app in the App Store as Sygic Travel.
