Le Méridien Tahiti is located in close proximity to many of Tahiti’s most popular attractions, with excursions available directly from the resort to the Caves of Maraa, Gauguin Museum, and the Seashell Museum. Le Méridien Tahiti’s Garden-View and Lagoon-View Rooms are very spacious (approximately 47.6 square meters) and look directly over the blue lagoon of Tahiti. Each features a terrace, creating the ideal place to read or take in the sunset. Decorated in vivid primary colors, Polynesian furnishings, natural materials and local designs, all guest rooms are available with a queen-size bed or two single beds, as well as air-conditioning, direct dial phone, safe, satellite television, Internet access, minibar, and coffee and tea amenities. The 12 Polynesian-style Bungalows stretch out into the lagoon and are perched right over the water. Each bungalow has a large deck for whiling away the hours over the lagoon. The over-water bungalows are very spacious (approximately 56 square meters) with a separate dressing area, and have air-conditioning, safe, satellite television, mini-bar, tea/coffee amenities, and an iron and ironing board. While it is not possible to add an extra bed to these rooms, a convertible sofa can be used for a third adult or a child.
