Amber Blecker Joins Smart Travel Group as Manager of Sales & Product Strategies, Kameish Stanley Named VP of Marketing for Smart Travel Group, Lisa Baron Promoted to VP of Supplier Relations for OASIS Travel Network

Boca Raton, FL (March 19, 2018) – Just in time for International Women’s Month, Smart Travel Group that was started by CEO Lee Smolinski, today announced the promotion of several team members, establishing one of the travel industry’s most powerful female leadership teams. Effective immediately, Amber Blecker has been named manager of sales and product strategies for Smart Travel Group, Kameish Stanley has been named vice president of marketing for Smart Travel Group, and Lisa Baron has been named vice president of supplier relations for OASIS Travel Network, the company’s independent contractor division.

A seasoned travel industry veteran with 16 years of experience selling and marketing cruise and land vacations, Amber Blecker will manage all aspects of Smart Travel Group’s sales and product strategies. Most recently, she was in the same position for SmartCruiser.com – the company’s internet cruise division.

Blecker has been listed in Travel Agent Magazine‘s Top 25 Travel Agent List and in USA Today’s CruiseLog Top 10 Cruise Specialist List. She also founded SoloCruiseResource.com, a site devoted to help solo cruisers find reduced single supplement sailing.

Stanley  – who previously served as senior director of marketing for SmartCruiser.com – joins the Smart Travel Group team in a similar capacity, where she will oversee marketing, ecommerce initiatives and supplier relations. Her previous experience includes product development and operational management positions at Online Vacation Center in Fort Lauderdale. Stanley holds a degree in marketing and international business from Florida International University.

Baron will take on additional responsibility, overseeing all supplier relations and distribution of supplier promotions and information along with management of OTN members websites, emarketing, and client reach-out. In her new role, she will also work closely with Signature Travel Network and liaise with OASIS Travel Network’s valued cruise and land supplier partners. Prior to joining OASIS Travel Network, Baron headed International Conferences, a division of cruise planners that provided accredited continuing education conferences onboard cruise ships for doctors and attorneys. Before that position, she worked on the supplier side of the fence for most of her career, most recently with Norwegian Cruise Line as the manager of the Hawaii desk.

“Amber, Kameish and Lisa are three very talented travel industry sales and marketing professionals and we are thrilled to recognize them for their efforts now, during International Women’s Month,” said Lee Smolinski, CEO of Smart Travel Group. “Our team continues to excel and with these three strong female leaders as part of our management team, we are excited about what is to come.”
