Secret Atlas Joins VacationPort to Bring Expedition Micro Cruises to North American Travel Advisors

Vancouver, B.C., October 2025 — Secret Atlas, a pioneer in Expedition Micro Cruises, is thrilled to announce an exciting new partnership with VacationPort (formerly Passport Online Inc.), the leading travel content distribution platform in North America. This novel collaboration brings Secret Atlas’ intimate micro cruise portfolio to travel advisors’ fingertips for clients seeking out-of-the-ordinary adventures in some of the planet’s most pristine regions – Greenland, Svalbard, Antarctica, and South Georgia.

Unlike conventional polar expedition cruises that carry 100 to 250 passengers, Secret Atlas micro cruises are designed for no more than 12 guests in the Arctic and up to 48 in Antarctica and South Georgia. These are not ordinary expedition cruises; they are purposeful and designed to deliver deeply personal and transformative polar experiences in some of the most pristine environments on the planet. Secret Atlas is moving beyond the traditional cruise model and answering the call for a new kind of authentic luxury.

“While the rest of the industry scales up, we are going in the opposite direction, because you can’t have a personal experience with 150 strangers”, said Michele D’Agostino, Co-Founder of Secret Atlas. “We’re proud to offer a real alternative to mass polar tourism and offer meaningful journeys for those who care about sustainability and value space, intimacy, silence and authentic connections in an increasingly noisy world”, added D’Agostino.

Soon, travel advisors will have a seamless access to Secret Atlas’ Expedition Micro Cruise product, polar destination education materials, itineraries, compelling imagery, and booking tools. These assets will empower travel advisors to confidently promote, quote, and convert bookings into unique, small-scale adventures.

This partnership reinforces VacationPort’s mission to connect travel advisors with trusted tools, inspiring products, and content that captures clients’ imagination while driving engagement and bookings.

“At VacationPort, we are committed to delivering the most extensive and high-quality content distribution system in the travel industry”, said Sarah Bauman, Vice President of Product Management for VacationPort. “Adding Secret Atlas to our supplier network deepens our support for advisors whose clients seek intimate, unforgettable travel experiences in some of the world’s most remote destinations”.

In just one year, VacationPort has seen a threefold increase in Impressions and Detailed Offer Views (DOVs), with engagement tripling between March 2024 and March 2025, a clear signal of growing advisor appetite for diverse, high-quality travel products.
