Riverside Luxury Cruises and Jerne Partner to Streamline Fams for Travel Advisors

Riverside Luxury Cruises Partners with Jerne to Enhance Travel Advisor Familiarization Opportunities

3 August 2024 – Riverside Luxury Cruises (www.riverside-cruises.com), the all-suite, European luxury river cruise company, and Jerne (www.jerne.com), the leading platform connecting influential travel curators and experience providers, have partnered to offer a simplified solution for the cruise line and travel advisors to manage hundreds of hosted and self-guided river cruise familiarization opportunities.

“According to our survey of hundreds of top travel advisors, their priority is experiencing new product that they can share with their top clients,” said Tim Morgan, CEO, Jerne. “By partnering with the exceptional Riverside product, we are able to provide exactly what they’re looking for in order to build new sales for themselves and their agency.”

Celebrating its recent top 10 favorite cruise line rating by readers of Travel + Leisure, Riverside is offering travel advisors the ability to apply for guided experiences aboard more than 500 voyages on the Danube, Rhine, Rhône, Moselle and Main rivers through December 2025. Managed through the Jerne platform, travel advisors will be able to build a profile that tells the story of their business; search and apply for familiarization opportunities that align with their product focus; and manage and share all of the content that they’ve created during their experience – providing valuable ROI to Riverside and to both the travel advisor and their travel agency.

“Partnering with Jerne gives us an efficient and effective platform to manage the vetting, application process, and marketing opportunity related to hosting travel advisors,” said Jen Halboth, CEO of Riverside Luxury Cruises. “Riverside values Travel Advisors’ indispensable role in creating unforgettable experiences for their clients and we understand it’s important to experience a travel product firsthand.  When they see it, they sell it.  we can’t wait for more travel advisors to share all of the beautiful experiences they see with Riverside and recommend us!”

Using Jerne’s verification process and proprietary matching technology, and while all travel advisors are invited to apply, travel advisors with over US$1.5M in annual sales will receive preferred access to Riverside familiarization opportunities across the line’s European fleet of all-suite ships. Through Jerne’s recent acquisition of The 1000, a club for the world’s most influential travel advisors, Riverside automatically has access to inviting Jerne’s existing top travel advisors with cumulative verified annual sales exceeding US$1 billion (https://www.jerne.com/jerne-celebrates-travel-advisors-hitting-one-billion-dollars-in-verified-sales/) to experience the Riverside difference.

“Riverside has been making waves in the industry with their stunning ship interiors, exceptional food, and incredible service,” said Morgan. “We’re pleased to make it easier for travel advisors to discover Riverside and rave about it to their clients through the offline and online sharing of content – the epitome of influence.”
