Registration Reopens for ASTA’s 2026 River Cruise Expo in Amsterdam

Get Onboard with 15 Ships, Exclusive Training, and a Front-Row Seat to the Future of River Cruising

📢 Exciting developments for travel advisors specializing in river cruising! The American Society of Travel Advisors (ASTA) has officially reopened registration for its 2026 River Cruise Expo, set to take place in Amsterdam from March 11–15, 2026. Thanks to expanded docking capacity at Passenger Terminal Amsterdam, this upcoming edition will host a record-setting 15 river cruise ships, allowing more advisors to attend than ever before.

Earlier this year, registration reached full capacity in record time—but now there’s a fresh opportunity for those who missed out to claim a spot.

What’s New at the 2026 Expo?

  • New Cruise Entrants: Celebrity Cruises and Trafalgar Travel are stepping into the river cruise arena and will preview their offerings on the trade show floor.
  • Expanded General Session: Training and educational sessions will now span two days, giving advisors even more time to gain valuable product knowledge.
  • High-Profile Keynote: Best-selling author Elizabeth Gilbert (Eat, Pray, Love) will deliver the keynote address, thanks to the support of Avalon Waterways.
  • Special Recognition: Sarah Little, ASTA’s Senior VP of Business Development, will be honored as Godmother of Amawaterways’ AmaSofia during a special christening ceremony.

With demand high and capacity expanded, this second wave of registration is expected to sell out quickly once again.

Why It’s a Must-Attend for Travel Advisors

ASTA’s River Cruise Expo has quickly become the industry’s flagship event for professionals looking to deepen their expertise in river cruising. Attendees enjoy an immersive experience—staying, dining, and learning onboard the very ships they’ll be selling to clients. It’s a rare chance to see multiple vessels side-by-side while networking with leading suppliers and fellow advisors.

Key Benefits:

✔ Exclusive ship tours with direct access to cruise line staff
✔ Hands-on experience with staterooms, amenities, and onboard services
✔ Deep dives into European river cruise itineraries and destinations
✔ Professional development tailored to river cruise sales
✔ Optional post-Expo sailings to further strengthen product knowledge

Get Ready to Set Sail Toward New Opportunities

Taking place in the heart of Amsterdam, this Expo offers the perfect blend of education, product immersion, and networking. For any advisor looking to grow their river cruise business, it’s an opportunity that simply can’t be missed.

🛳️ The ASTA River Cruise Expo 2026 will run from March 11–15, 2026, in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

Now that registration is open again, the time to act is now.
