“We are pleased to partner with Newlink to drive awareness and better position Chile in the North American market,” said Rudyard Ullrich, Head of International Markets for SERNATUR, the government entity representing the Chile Tourism Board. “The agency’s results-driven approach to public relations, demonstrated excellence in the tourism industry and knowledge of the American traveler will be key to reinforce our communications strategies in the U.S.”
Nestled between the Pacific Ocean and the Andes Mountains, Chile is home to diverse landscapes, exciting outdoor adventures, expansive vineyards, and unique ancestral traditions. Stretching along South America’s western coast, Chile is a tri-continental nation with additional territories in Antarctica and Oceania, such as Easter Island, one of six UNESCO World Heritage Sites located in the country. Travelers can stargaze at the Atacama Desert, enjoy local ski resorts near the Andes, trek through the Patagonia, or explore the modern city of Santiago, the capital, making Chile a land of endless possibilities.
“We are thrilled to represent such a distinct destination as Chile, and we are excited about the opportunity to bring a fresh approach to promoting the country’s vast tourism offerings. As the travel industry slowly rebounds, our team is looking forward to supporting the Chile Tourism Board during this critical time and to help them elevate the brand across the United States,” said Sabrina Lacle, Senior Director at Newlink.
