NEST Stars Retreat Develops Potential of High-Performing Agencies as Network Opportunities Grow

New Event Offers Up-and-Coming Agencies Valuable Chance to Connect with Executives and Discover Benefits of Profit-Boosting Programs

OYSTER BAY, NY (September 30, 2025): The Network of Entrepreneurs Selling Travel has introduced an event to help elevate its most promising agencies to top-tier status.

The first NEST Stars Retreat provided best practices, networking and motivation for 25 owners of on-the-rise agencies. The intimate event celebrated the agencies’ achievements and facilitated meaningful connections in a relaxed setting. NEST Stars Retreat took place September 16-19, 2025 at Secrets Moxché in Playa del Carmen, Mexico.

The NEST Stars Retreat agenda balanced inspirational speakers in formal sessions with informal bonding during leisure pursuits. Agencies discovered how they could take advantage of sales trends and network programs, make their businesses more efficient, market more strategically and maximize commissions and profit share.

The retreat offered a unique opportunity for advisors to spend quality time with NEST executives, select partners and peers in NEST’s close-knit entrepreneurial community. Attendees strengthened ties through insightful conversations during meals, receptions and activities such as painting and spa sessions. As the event was so successful, another NEST Stars Retreat will be held in 2026.

“Agencies are approaching us for affiliation because of our reputation for hands-on business support,” said NEST Senior Vice President Wayne Spector. “NEST Stars Retreat is taking our celebrated personal service a step further by immersing the next wave of emerging agencies in education and relationship-building. This event will energize agencies to make the most of our abundant opportunities and rise to new sales heights.”

As the country’s first and only network for independent home-based agencies, NEST has dramatically expanded over the last couple of years as more travel businesses move home. Sales are rising as consumers prioritize travel spending and booking trips with an expert advisor. In 2025, NEST has added 60 agencies that brought with them $170.7 million in preferred partner sales. This year’s growth has surpassed even 2024’s fast pace of expansion, which saw NEST accept 60 agencies with $152 million in preferred sales.

NEST offers affiliated agencies distinctive programs, resources and tools to help them increase their profits in a competitive market. Business Analysts work closely with agencies to identify opportunities for more successful marketing, operational efficiencies and increased revenue. NEST also provides agencies with higher commissions, profit-sharing opportunities, relationships with top suppliers, lead-generation campaigns, professional development, exclusive events and proprietary technology.
