Winners were chosen by readers, industry experts, and editorial teams. The positive recognition from industry professionals and travelers alike, solidifies the hotelier’s positioning for an exciting 2022.
For the second year in a row, Hemispheres Magazine, the onboard magazine for United Airlines, asked readers to vote for their favorite places around the globe, which resulted in two La Colección Resorts by Fiesta Americana properties collecting accolades. Live Aqua Beach Resort Cancún was recognized as Best Mexican or Caribbean Hotel, along with The Gem Spa at Grand Fiesta Americana Coral Beach Cancún Spa Resort- All Inclusive for Best Spa.
More than 800,000 Condé Nast Traveler readers submitted responses rating their travel experiences. Live Aqua Beach Resort Cancún earned its spot as Best Mexico Eastern Resort and was among the Top 20 Best Resorts in the World. Its sister property, Fiesta Americana Hacienda Galindo Resort & Spa, was also named as the 15th Best Resort in Mexico. The Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards are the longest-running awards of their kind and applaud the best of the tourism and travel industry.
The Reader’s Choice Awards of Recommend Magazine’s audience of travel advisors debated their favorite destinations, hotels & resorts, tour operators, and more to determine the winners in a variety of categories. La Colección Resort’s parent company, Grupo Posadas, was met with the award of Best All-Inclusive Resort Group for destination weddings and honeymoons.

Most recently, the 2021 Travvy Awards by Northstar Travel Media recognized the top suppliers, destinations, technology providers and attractions, as selected by those who know them best – travel agents. Over 90,000 votes were cast by travel advisors and La Colección Resorts was met with six awards at gold, silver and bronze levels. In its seventh year, The Trazees Awards by Global Traveler announced it’s 2021 winners this past August. Travel Trazee’s very own readers selected their favorites in the world of travel.
