Debuting its very first iteration over three nights on December 28-30, 2021, the upscale alfresco affair is masterminded by the brilliant culinary stylings of the hotel’s Executive Chef, Javier Carballo, and enhanced with exciting live entertainment. Poised to become the area’s next to-be-and-be-seen this winter and beyond, the seasonal dining soirée will be held in the property’s posh and picturesque Vines Cabanas.

The Inspiration
Taking its cues from the sophistication and excellence provided by social clubs in the 1930s and 40s, and lively vibes from traditional dinner shows, Cabana Nights brings a fresh new concept to the Miami dining scene. Designed to encourage guests to linger and connect past their meals, the experience will feature an exclusive menu of Chef Carballo’s inspired culinary delicacies, top-shelf wines, hand-crafted cocktails, and crowd-pleasing live entertainment.
The Location
Cabana Nights will take advantage of Kimpton Surfcomber’s The Vines Ivy Upper Cabanas area, which boast a privileged and private spot, perched on adjacent balconies that overlook the pool deck, enhanced by elegant lighting and gently swaying palm trees. The unique and intimate space allows seating that exclusively accommodates parties of four, at minimum and parties of ten at maximum – making Cabana Nights the perfect setting for groups of friends and families.
The Talent
Cabana Nights’ dinners will provide a showcase for Executive Chef Javier Carballo, who headlines the property’s signature restaurant, The Social Club, as well as High Tide Beach Bar & Grill. With more than a decade of chef experience in the Miami culinary scene, the Uruguayan-native chef pulls inspiration from the cultural influences of his Spanish and Italian grandparents. Each evening of Cabana Nights begins with a welcome cocktail, an amuse bouche, and the chance to meet the chef. Chef Javier’s delicious dishes are just the beginning of the delights that Cabana Nights has in store. The “modern supper club”-style setting will be further elevated by nightly entertainment, including DJs, live bands, a jazz quartet, and roving performers, such as a magician and an electric violinist.
