KHM Travel Group has once again found a new way to connect with travel advisors; this time in the form of a weekly talk show with segments that include interviews with leaders in the travel industry, breaking news, destination information, sales and business tips, and other items of general interest. The show’s content is oriented to all travel advisors, not only members of KHM Travel Group.
“We know that the last year has been challenging and, in many cases, isolating for our industry colleagues,” said Carolyn Orf, the host of KHM Today. “The objective of our show is to provide news and information to the travel advisor community in a fun and engaging way.”
Recent guests of the show included Vicki Freed, the Vice President of Sales, Trade Support and Service for Royal Caribbean, Delta Vacations Vice President of Sales Kristen Molloy, and AmaWaterways Senior Vice President Gary Murphy. Other segments have focused on current events, COVID-19 protocols, creative marketing ideas, how to stay connected with your clients, and even favorite recipes and hobbies.
“Since last February, the KHM Travel Group team has been connecting with agents through emails, webinars, and Facebook Lives several times each week. Those efforts have been heavily focused on assisting agents with all of the impacts of the pandemic. While we’re still committed to those weekly sessions, we heard from travel advisors that they wanted a lighter and more conversational way to stay current with the industry. We are blown away by the positive response we’ve heard from agents about KHM Today, and I think our team is enjoying hosting it just as much as our audience is watching it,” said Bill Coyle, Director of Education and Programs.
All travel advisors are invited to register for the second quarter of KHM Today in GoToWebinar. New episodes air live every Wednesday at 3pm EST.
