Internova Travel Group Launches AI Center of Excellence to Advance Innovation in Travel Services

Industry-first hub unifies AI research, development and deployment across Internova’s global travel brands

NEW YORK (October 8, 2025) – Internova Travel Group, one of the world’s largest travel services companies representing more than 100,000 travel advisors worldwide, today announced the launch of its AI Center of Excellence (AI CoE) to accelerate the use of artificial intelligence across its brands. The initiative reflects Internova’s mission: to empower its network of travel advisors with the most exceptional programs, products and support to deliver unparalleled experiences to the traveler.

Several Internova brands have already pioneered AI-driven solutions. In 2023, Travel Leaders Network partnered with Travel Research Online to launch TobyAI, the first AI engine built specifically for travel advisor support. ALTOUR followed in 2024 with ALTOUR Intelligence, an AI-powered suite that streamlines corporate travel through tools like AI Predict for disruption management, AI Book for conversational bookings, AI Respond for instant support and AI Transform for personalized communication. Most recently, Global Travel Collection unveiled Atlas, a Microsoft-powered platform expected to save its 1,500 luxury advisors more than 1.5 million hours annually.

The AI CoE unifies these efforts, creating the travel services industry’s first dedicated hub for AI research, development and deployment. It will focus on building innovations that strengthen advisor capabilities and client outcomes, including:

  • Agentic AI Operations: Automating complex processes such as itinerary design, booking and commission reconciliation.
  • Generative AI for Advisors: Provides real-time, personalized recommendations, insights and communication tools, including support to refine and create compelling bios within our award-winning, best-in-class Agent Profiler lead-generation platform.
  • AI-Powered Consumer-Advisor Matching: Connecting travelers with the right advisor across GlobalTravelCollection.com, TravelLeaders.com  and Vacation.com.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Partnering with Microsoft Azure AI to uncover actionable intelligence from booking systems, financial data and customer interactions.
  • Responsible AI Practices: Establishing governance frameworks to ensure transparency, security and ethical use of AI in travel.

“Our AI Center of Excellence is not just about adopting new technology, it’s about embedding innovation across Internova to ensure our advisors have the most advanced tools to succeed,” said Casey Soto, AI CoE Leader for Internova Travel Group.

Soto was named to Travel Trends Podcast’s Top 50 People in Travel & AI in 2025.

The AI CoE is powered by cross-functional product teams, developers and business analysts, working alongside partners such as Microsoft to create scalable, enterprise-grade solutions.

“Artificial intelligence has the power to transform how advisors serve clients and how we operate as a global travel leader,” said Jeremy Van Kuyk, Chief Information Officer, Internova Travel Group. “By aligning AI with our mission, we are ensuring that every advisor and agency in the Internova family has access to innovations that give them a competitive advantage in today’s marketplace.”
