Family Bonds Foundation to Host Spring Fundraiser at Travel Leaders Network’s EDGE Conference

Silent auction and raffle featuring travel prizes to support travel advisors in need

NEW YORK (May 30, 2025) – The Family Bonds Foundation, a charitable organization dedicated to supporting U.S. travel advisors and their communities during times of crisis, will host its highly anticipated Spring Fundraiser during Travel Leaders Network’s annual EDGE Conference, taking place June 9-12 at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.

Held in conjunction with one of the travel industry’s most influential gatherings, the fundraiser will feature a silent auction and raffle with numerous travel prizes, including luxury vacations, first-class airline tickets and five-star hotel stays, all generously donated by the travel industry’s biggest supplier partners, including airlines, hotels and resorts, cruise lines and tour operators.

Now in its 10th year, Family Bonds Foundation has awarded over 250 emergency grants to individuals and communities nationwide who have faced sudden hardship due to illness, job loss, natural disasters and more. In 2024, the Foundation raised a record-breaking $650,000, and this year, it aims to reach $800,000, its most ambitious goal yet.

“EDGE is the perfect platform to rally our industry behind a cause that directly supports the communities and people within our travel advisor community,” said John Lovell, CTC, President of Travel Leaders Network and founder of Family Bonds Foundation. “Every dollar raised helps real people facing real challenges. We’re counting on the generosity of the industry to make a difference.”

Participants can register for the fundraiser by going to https://bidpal.net/bondsspring25 or by texting BondsSpring25 to 243725 (U.S.) or 855-924-3725 (Canada). The auction opens at 8 a.m. PT on June 2. The auction closes at 2:45 p.m. PT on June 12 and the raffle closes at 11:59 p.m. PT on June 12.

The Family Bonds Foundation fundraiser is open to everyone, and while anyone can nominate someone in need, only U.S. residents are eligible to receive grants. Grant eligibility is also not limited to Travel Leaders Network members.

“Helping each other is what makes our industry resilient,” said Jackie Friedman, President of Nexion Travel Group and President of the Family Bonds Foundation. “Whether you’re a travel advisor, supplier partner, or traveler, this is your chance to give back, maybe even win an incredible trip while you’re at it.”
