2026 Dream Vacations and CruiseOne River Summit Marks First Educational Charter Conference on Viking

 

Fort Lauderdale, Fla. (March 19, 2026) — As river cruising continues to gain momentum heading into 2026, Dream Vacations and CruiseOne® have concluded their 2026 River Summit, an immersive educational sailing held March 6–11, 2026, aboard the Viking Rolf on the Rhine River. The event marked Viking’s first educational charter conference, underscoring a shared commitment to advisor education and firsthand product experience.

 

The River Summit, part of the organizations’ Immersive Educational Series, brought travel advisors together at a time when demand for river cruising is rising among both consumers and travel advisors. As cruise lines extend their sailing seasons, starting earlier and ending later, river cruise bookings are beginning to outpace capacity growth. As a result, river cruising is evolving into more of a year‑round product.

Throughout the journey, advisors experienced Viking River Cruises’ product while participating in structured programming that blended professional development with destination immersion.

 

Onboard engagement included supplier presentations, office hours, and curated networking opportunities, all integrated into the daily cruise experience. The format allowed advisors to step into the guest journey while building practical product knowledge alongside peers and supplier partners.
