Part Two
In part one we looked at the reality of operating email campaigns in 2026 in an .ai environment and how to make sure that your campaign meets current standards to succeed. Now we will look at exactly how to structure your campaign to excel.
Each campaign should have exactly one measurable objective. Not three. Not “a few goals.” One. Here are examples of legitimate singular campaign objectives:
That last one is new to 2026, and worth dwelling on. Many top travel professionals are now using short preference surveys, delivered via email to feed their AI personalization tools. The more structured data you have on your clients’ preferences, the better your AI-assisted recommendations become. Surveys are no longer just market research; they are fuel for your personalization engine.
Vague value is no value. “Sign up for our newsletter for exclusive deals!” is not a value proposition, it is a prayer. Offer something concrete: a destination guide built around your firsthand experience, an AI-generated preliminary itinerary customized to their profile, early access to a limited-availability group departure, or a short video of you walking through a ship or resort they’ve expressed interest in. Specificity converts. Generality gets deleted.
A recognizable “from” name and a professional domain email address. Not your personal Gmail account. If the sender is not recognizable, the email is not opened. Full stop. This is the single most foundational element of email deliverability and open rates, and it is frequently the one that new advisors overlook entirely because it requires setting up a professional email address, which feels like an administrative task rather than a marketing one. It is both.
Your email should look like it came from the same business as your website and social media profiles. Same fonts. Same color palette. Same logo in the header. Same general tone. Consistency builds recognition. Recognition builds trust. Trust converts into bookings. This is not a sequence that can be shortcut by a more compelling subject line.
“3 Cabins Left: Antarctica” is a subject line. It is specific, it is true, and it creates urgency without resorting to ALL CAPS or a rotating cast of exclamation marks. It tells the reader exactly what the email is about and creates a legitimate reason to open it immediately. That is the standard. It is achievable. Your AI tools can generate twenty subject line variations in the time it takes to write one, and then you can select the one that best fits your brand voice and the specific audience segment receiving it.
