May 20, 2019 – New York, NY—New York City Vacation Packages (NYCVP) is proud to announce they are once again offering two of their most popular summertime events – the annual 4th of July Barbeque Over Broadway and Macy’s Fireworks Cruise – in one fabulous package.
The day begins at 1:00pm with an old fashioned barbeque with a twist – it’s seven stories up – overlooking world famous Times Square! Yes – you read that right – this unique barbeque is held on the outdoor terrace of the Supernova Restaurant located in the Novotel New York Hotel. Here your clients will indulge in a menu including hamburgers, hot dogs, corn on the cob, ribs, baked potatoes and more. And while they are enjoying this traditional American picnic food they will also be taking in the sights and sounds of the city – without the crowds! (And if the weather doesn’t cooperate there is plenty of indoor space.)
Once the BBQ ends at 3:30pm they’ll board a motorcoach headed to the pier. But first they’ll be treated to a tour of the city narrated by a knowledgeable, licensed NYC tour guide. Their escort will point out the many historical, cultural and other noteworthy sites that make New York City such an exciting destination to spend the nation’s birthday.
Upon arrival at Pier 81 they’ll embark on a fun-filled evening aboard World Yacht’s Duchess. Their journey starts as they set sail down the Hudson River making their way around the tip of lower Manhattan to the East River – all while viewing the island from a brand new perspective. They’ll enjoy one of a kind views of such landmarks as the newly opened Hudson Yards, One World Trade Center, the Statue of Liberty, the Brooklyn Bridge and more. While on board they will enjoy an open bar, a gourmet dinner buffet, a D.J. and dancing. But the finale is one that makes this cruise one not to be missed – anchored in the East River they’ll experience breathtaking views of the Macy’s Fireworks display right from the deck of the yacht!
The boat returns to the pier at approximately 11:00pm where their motorcoach will be waiting to transport them back to a convenient Midtown location.
