CCRA Announces Dates for Upcoming Regional PowerSolutions LIVE

To Include Agent Training and Round-Table Supplier Events

FORT WORTH, TEXAS – June 2019 – On the heels of its successful, first annual National Conference with more than 700 travel professionals in attendance, and its PowerSolutions LIVE educational forum in Atlanta, CCRA Travel Commerce Network today announced upcoming dates for its regional 2019 events.  The next PowerSolutions LIVE event will be held June 12th, and will be taking place at the New York Marriott Marquis in New York City.

These highly anticipated events have continued expanding over the years and now include valuable education and training sessions by industry experts and business development managers, empowering speakers, face-to-face round table meetings between agents and suppliers, and an interactive trade show ideal for networking with industry colleagues and providers.

“We are thrilled to continue growing our PowerSolutions LIVE events and are equally pleased to be one of the only organizations within our space to bring these opportunities directly to agents in their local and regional areas.  Clearly agents are experiencing and acknowledging the benefits of PowerSolutions LIVE as we are seeing more and more agent interest.  Last season’s PowerSolutions were celebrated with sold-out registrations and more than 300 agents registered for our first event this year in Atlanta,” said Dic Marxen, President and CEO of CCRA.

“Typically an agent would have to jump on a plane, pay for a hotel, and be away from their businesses to be able to gain this kind of knowledge.  Unique in the industry, we bring insightful speakers directly to them and teach them how to grow their business,” continued Marxen. “At PowerSolutions LIVE events we also help agents create those in-person relationships with suppliers that are so very essential for success.  We give agents the firsthand opportunity to show up to the table and meet BDMs face-to-face.”

Having surveyed agents over the years, CCRA has learned education is the number one component travel agents look for when they attend PowerSolutions LIVE. At upcoming events participants will gain knowledge from Tammy Levent, founder and CEO of T.A.S.K, who will teach agents how to close deals and gain new customers. Acclaimed suppliers will feature training modules that offer agents in attendance an insider’s perspective into their products and new offerings. In addition participants will get an in-depth look at CCRA’s new agent-only hotel booking engine, TripSet.com, led by Holly Matthews Carrig, Senior Director of CCRA’s Agency Services. Agents will then join in roundtable sessions where they will make real connections with top supplier partners. Each event will conclude with a trade show evening of food, drinks, and more networking with the rest of the supplier roster.

CCRA’s PowerSolutions LIVE events are offered on a complimentary basis for TRUE members.  For travel advisors who wish to preview CCRA Membership, a $25 fee is charged per ticket that is credited back to the agent should they join CCRA. Travel Agents of all experience levels are welcome to attend PowerSolutions LIVE events as well as members of ARC, IATA, CLIA, ASTA and NACTA.

Travel agents are encouraged to register early to guarantee their spot at these increasingly popular events.
