Cancun Launches ‘Time To Cancun’ Campaign

Cancun, Q.Roo (December 4, 2017) – The Cancun Tourism Board has announced the launch of ‘Time To Cancun,’ a social media branding campaign aimed to engage digitally savvy travelers.

The ‘Time To Cancun’ campaign highlights the best of every aspect of the multifaceted destination, from crystal clear blue beaches, to international cuisine and natural wonders. The strategy will be launched in four stages with the goal to engage, share and reinforce messaging about how guests can spend their time in Cancun and explore the destination’s diversity, including water activities, gastronomy, romance and culture. The campaign’s anchor will be the #TimeToCancun hashtag which will be promoted among social media users encouraging them share their Cancun experiences.

“Time to Cancun is a reminder that a traveler can have it all in our destination,” says Lizzie Cole, director of the Cancun Tourism Board. “From world-class golf and resorts, to luxury spas, outdoor fun, idyllic settings, Mayan culture and superb gastronomy, visitors have plenty of reasons to return to Cancun year after year.”

The social campaign is directed to travelers who visit the destination at least twice per year, which makes up almost 50 percent of Cancun’s visitors. As result of the campaign, a Time to Cancun video was generated using media content from visitors and the private sector showcasing the destination’s top attractions and how any time, is #TimeToCancun.
