As a long-standing partner of the Cannes Film Festival, Air France will once again operate special flights this year between Los Angeles (USA) and Nice (France) in May 2025. This is an ideal opportunity for customers on the American West Coast to enjoy the French Riviera and its renowned international film festival at this time of year, as well as the F1 Grand Prix in Monaco.

Flights between Los Angeles and Nice will be operated by Airbus A350 equipped with the airline’s latest travel cabins. In Business, a sliding door allows passengers to create a fully enclosed space, ensuring privacy from the other passengers in the cabin. Each seat converts into a full-flat bed almost 2 meters long, ensuring optimal comfort. In Premium, the latest recliner-type seat has a wide 48-cm seat pan and reclines up to 121°. In Economy, the seat is fitted with ergonomic seat foam, has a 119° recline and 79cm of legroom. Each cabin offers an in-flight Wi-Fi connection and wide High-Definition individual touch screens, providing movie lovers with the perfect opportunity to enjoy films on board.
The Airbus A350 is the jewel in Air France’s long-haul fleet. With CO2 emissions reduced by 25% compared to previous-generation aircraft, it is a powerful way of reducing the airline’s environmental footprint. Its noise footprint is also reduced by 40%.
Air France will also operate four special flights between New York-JFK and Nice for the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, taking place between June 16 to 20, 2025. These flights will be operated by Boeing 777-300ER.

A reinforced summer schedule to the United States
During the 2025 summer season, Air France is increasing flights to the United States, adding Orlando (Florida) as a direct service from Paris-Charles de Gaulle. Air France will then offer 18 destinations in the United States and 25 in North America: Atlanta, Boston, Cancún, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Detroit, Houston, Los Angeles, Mexico City, Miami, Montreal, Minneapolis, New York-JFK, New York-Newark, Ottawa, Orlando, Phoenix, Québec City, Raleigh-Durham, San Francisco, Seattle, Toronto, Vancouver and Washington-DC.

For the 45th year running, Air France is a partner of the Cannes Film Festival, whose 78th edition is taking place from May 13-24, 2025. The company is thus celebrating the world’s largest film festival and showcasing its love of cinema.
