Adventure on Their Terms: G Adventures Unveils 38 New Trips for 18-to-Thirtysomethings

New destinations include Patagonia, Belize, the Stans, Panama and beyond, all packed with local culture, adventure and affordability.

G Adventures, is offering young travelers who crave freedom, cultural connection and community new ways to see the world, with the exciting addition of 38 new trips to its 18-to-Thirtysomethings travel style. The launch includes brand new destinations for this travel style, including Panama, Patagonia, Central Asia and the first stand-alone trip in Belize – making these once hard-to-reach or costly destinations more accessible than ever for young travelers. The expansion also includes itineraries in existing favorites, including India and Indonesia, offering fresh ways to experience these culturally-rich countries. These affordable, high-impact adventures are built for connection, independence and real local impact, without breaking the bank.

With Gen Z and millennial travellers seeking dynamic, culturally rich experiences that offer both the freedom of solo travel and the opportunity to make new friends through shared experiences, G Adventures has crafted itineraries that are innovative, immersive and fun. These trips don’t just allow travelers to see the world – they enable them to feel it, taste it and live it fully.

“We’ve seen that this demographic craves dynamic, activity-packed trips and cultural thrills, and that they spend a lot of time using and getting inspired by TikTok and Instagram. We’re opening up destinations that have traditionally been difficult or expensive to travel to, and are doing so in a really unique and innovative way, with incredible community-run accommodations, multi-day island hopping itineraries and activities that celebrate not only the place, but the people who live there,” says Yves Marceau, VP of product at G Adventures.

“We’re also seeing that 73% of travellers* booking 18-to-Thirtysomethings trips are solo travelers (that number jumps to 83% for US bookings), and they really appreciate the social aspect and security that comes with a group, plus the opportunity to really understand a destination with knowledgeable chief experience officers (CEOs), as this is often their first big international trip,” he continues.

Patagonia, Chile and Argentina – G Adventures’ will be taking young travelers to the wild landscapes of Patagonia for the first time, with four options to choose from, ranging from a nine-day Patagonia highlights trip to an epic 16-day adventure journeying from Santiago, to Southern Patagonia and ending in lively Buenos Aires. This typically-expensive and remote part of the world makes it difficult for those on a budget and limited time to access it – until now. New adventures will tick off the must-see highlights from sleeping under the stars in Torres Del Paine National Park to visiting the towering glaciers of El Calafate, all at an incredible price. By combining itineraries, travellers can take epic trips through even more of South America. Patagonia: Turquoise Lakes & Torres del Paine starts from $2,799pp**.

Belize – It’s often regarded as the most expensive Central American country to travel in, and often overshadowed by bigger Central American destinations, but these new itineraries celebrate all Belize has to offer; from the world’s second-largest barrier reef and Mayan ruins to beaches and jungle, at an incredible price. It’s also a great alternative short-break destination for US travelers seeking an alternative to Mexico. Bringing the magic of Caribbean to life and perfect for ocean lovers, travellers can take an epic six-day trip from Caye Caulker to Hopkins, with three days hopping around isolated islands, swimming and snorkelling with the reef’s diverse marine life before pitching tents and sleeping on the pristine island beaches. For those wanting longer, a two-day add-on takes travelers to the jungle of San Ignacio, with tubing excursions and visits to ancient Mayan ruins on offer. Island-hopping and Sailing Belize: Beach Days & Starry Night starts from $1,099pp**.

The Stans – G Adventures is the first major youth operator to offer affordable trips through four Central Asian countries: Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan. In other travel styles, G Adventures has seen a 57% increase in bookings for Uzbekistan and 30% increase in Kyrgyzstan. These four new trips are ideal for history buffs and off-the-beaten-path explorers, opening a raw and remote part of the world to younger travellers, with itineraries that include yurt stays, canyon hikes, alpine lakes and Silk Road cities. The Stans: The Ultimate Adventure through the Silk Road starts from $3,749pp**

Panama – With time in the San Blas Islands and stays with Indigenous Guna communities, bike rides along the beach, chocolate experiences and rainforest adventures, these five new trips are packed with culture, community tourism and off-the-grid experiences. Sleeping in traditional Indigenous-owned huts in the San Blas islands, travellers can spend three days exploring the archipelago by boat, enjoying the pleasures of simple living and complete disconnection. With these new trips, 18-to-Thirtysomethings will also have the option to take a 27-day journey from San José to Medellín – the first time G Adventures is combining both Central and South America – ticking off Costa Rica, Panama and Colombia in one epic adventure. Panama: Sandy Beaches & San Blas Sunsets starts from $899pp**

About G Adventures

G Adventures isn’t just a travel company — we’re a community committed to changing lives through travel. Since 1990, when social entrepreneur Bruce Poon Tip set out to transform the way people see the world, we’ve been leading the charge in community tourism and small-group adventures. With more than 900 life-changing trips across 100+ countries and all seven continents, we help travellers connect deeply with the people, cultures, landscapes, and wildlife that make each place so unforgettable — all while having the time of their lives.

But it doesn’t stop there. Because for us, travel isn’t just about where you go — it’s about how you give back while you’re there.  Our ‘G for Good’ social impact initiatives ensure every trip does just that. In 2018, we launched the industry-first Ripple Score™ to track how much of our travellers’ money stays in the local economy (we’re proud to average 92% across our trips). Together with our non-profit partner, Planeterra, we also help power over 130 community tourism projects across the world. And through our Trees for Days initiative, we’ve planted over 3 million trees (and growing), one for every day a traveller spends on a G Adventures trip, helping both communities and the planet thrive.

At G Adventures, we believe travel should change the world — not just for the traveller but for everyone they meet along the way. Our one-of-a-kind culture fuels a global community that transcends borders, builds connection, and spreads joy, curiosity and humanity wherever it goes. Because we’re not just about seeing the world. We’re about making it better, together.
