Travel advisors gather for immersive resort, destination and supplier training as
Jamaica continues its tourism resurgence
Fort Lauderdale, Fla. (Sept. 8, 2026) – Dream Vacations and CruiseOne are kicking off their 2026 Land Summit this week in Jamaica, bringing travel advisors together for immersive training focused on resort vacations, guided tours and destination experiences. Hosted in partnership with Vacation Express at Princess Grand Jamaica, the event combines educational sessions, supplier networking, resort site inspections and hands-on learning designed to help advisors grow their land vacation business.
“We are happy to welcome Dream Vacations and CruiseOne advisors to Jamaica for this year’s Land Summit. Travel advisors are among our most valuable partners as they are the trusted voices who guide travelers toward unforgettable experiences, and there is no substitute for seeing our resorts, attractions, and warm hospitality firsthand,” said Donovan White, director of tourism for the Jamaica Tourist Board. “As Jamaica’s tourism sector continues its strong momentum, we are proud to give advisors the tools and destination knowledge they need to confidently sell Jamaica to their clients.”
As one of the Caribbean’s most sought-after destinations, Jamaica provides the perfect setting for advisors to experience firsthand the resorts, attractions and experiences they recommend to clients. Nearly one year after Hurricane Melissa impacted the island, Jamaica continues to demonstrate remarkable tourism recovery and growth, giving advisors the opportunity to see that progress firsthand while connecting with supplier partners and deepening their destination knowledge.
“One of the things I love most about our industry is seeing destinations come back stronger than ever, and that’s exactly what we’re seeing in Jamaica,” said Dawn Gillis, director of land strategy and performance for Dream Vacations and CruiseOne. “The island has incredible momentum right now, and we’re excited to give our advisors the chance to experience that firsthand. From connecting with our supplier partners to exploring resorts and attractions throughout the destination, this week is all about helping advisors build the knowledge and confidence that results in even better vacation experiences for their clients.”
Throughout the week, attendees will participate in supplier presentations, one-on-one meetings, a supplier tradeshow and site inspections designed to strengthen relationships and provide practical insights into one of the Caribbean’s most popular destinations. The summit is part of Dream Vacations’ and CruiseOne’s broader investment in immersive educational experiences that connect advisors directly with destinations and industry partners.
