Fort Lauderdale, Fla., Sept. 05, 2019 – The Travel Corporation (TTC) is honored to announce that it has been named The American Society of Travel Advisors’ (ASTA) 2019 Tour Operator Partner of the Year. The award was presented at ASTA’s Global Convention in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. on Aug. 25 and was received by Guy Young, chief engagement officer for TTC.
“While I had the honor of accepting the award, credit is due to the fantastic staff and executives from our brands, notably Trafalgar, Insight, Contiki, Costsaver, Brendan, Luxury Gold and African Travel who work so hard to support our advisor partners and deliver exceptional experiences to their clients,” said Young. “Our partnership with the travel advisor community is the foundation to the success of our brands. The fact that the ASTA awards are voted on by advisors, makes this award particularly rewarding and appreciated.”
As one of the travel industry’s premier organizations, ASTA strives to promote excellence within the trade and presents several awards to recognize those professionals who make lasting contributions to the travel industry. Individual supplier awards are given to companies that best support the advisor community, as voted on by the ASTA membership.
