Small ship cruises in Alaskan wilderness include all adventure activities
Seattle, WA, May 21, 2019 — With 23 years’ experience operating Alaskan adventure cruises, UnCruise Adventures announces its schedule of Alaska cruises for 2020 with 117 departures on seven inclusive itineraries throughout Southeast Alaska. Five itineraries visit Glacier Bay National Park and all itineraries include daily adventures for varying interests and abilities.
An early bird savings rewards those making advanced vacation plans with a savings up to $1,200 per couple. The offer is good until December 13, 2019 for weeklong 2020 Alaska sailings aboard the Legacy, Wilderness Explorer and Wilderness Discoverer.
From April through September, boutique yachts and expedition ships sail adventure cruises lasting one to two weeks from homeports of Seattle, WA; Ketchikan, Juneau, and Sitka, Alaska. Ships carry 22 to 90 guests to enable up close and personal adventures in wild areas. Every vessel is equipped with kayaks, paddle boards, skiffs, a launch platform, and other adventure amenities.
UnCruise will begin spring 2020 sailings in April, offering early access to Alaska’s awakening landscapes. Alaska Awakening highlights the benefits of spring and encourages visiting Southeast Alaska during the driest months of the year.
With few or no port calls, every Alaska cruise includes daily adventure activities in remote wilderness—hiking, bushwhacking, kayaking, paddle boarding, skiff excursions and whale watching. Flexible itineraries and the small group size facilitate unimpeded exploration and time to search for and watch wildlife. Trained expedition guides, many with advanced degrees in marine biology and environmental science, lead adventures and provide expert nature and cultural interpretation along the way.
“Adventure is at the heart of what we do, and we want to make sure our guests experience the real Alaska,” said Captain Dan Blanchard, CEO. “Including every activity and offering a variety of excursions each day allows people to touch, feel, and connect with this wild land.”
Each cruise is inclusive with inspired cuisine, and all drinks and snacks to support daily adventures and excursions. A pastry chef on every ship bakes all breads, desserts and pastries fresh each day. Sustainable seafood is sourced locally in Alaska.
