10th Anniversary of TPI Rocks

A decade of connection, growth, and community comes together as TPI celebrates its flagship event and the advisors at the heart of it all

This year marks the 10th Anniversary of TPI Rocks, Travel Planners International’s (TPI) biggest annual event. This milestone showcases the importance and longevity of not only this experience but also of the TPI community as a whole, which their TPI Agents are at the center of.

What more, TPI Rocks serves as the cornerstone of TPI and beyond. What began in 2016 at a resort in Cancun, Mexico, as a dream to grow and deepen TPI’s focus has now become what TPI Leadership, including Jenn Lee, President/CMO of TPI and Vacation Planners, envisioned: a space for connection, support, and education.

What inspired the goal and vision? Their Travel Agents, the Rockstars, as Jenn expressed are the heart. In fact, TPI Rocks was named after them: “Rock-stars” -> “TPI Rocks”. Before that title, it was once known as “TPI Extravaganza.” When the company-wide refresh began 10 years ago, Jenn helped create the new name and structure of this experience – this family reunion – to reflect its revitalized purpose and their Travel Agents’ impact.

In that purpose, TPI Rocks is and feels like one big family reunion. TPI Advisors, Preferred Partners, and TPI Team Members alike all get to come together in community to catch up, to reconnect, and help one another in this industry. As Jenn describes it, “It’s more giving than taking.” It’s where everyone can pour into one another, supporting and cheering each other on. TPI wants it to be meaningful and remind their community that none of them are alone.

For the TPI Team, TPI Rocks represents a decade of change, growth, and a whole new culture. For the Partner, it reveals the importance of connection. For the TPI Travel Agent, it may symbolize their hard work and the fresh culture that has now baked in, making way for opportunities internationally, locally, and at sea.

TPI is excited and proud of this 10 Year Anniversary, all they have accomplished in a decade, and what it means to their Travel Advisors and for the future. Jenn stated, “It’s the first year of the next 10 years.”
