World Travel Awards Names Occidental at Xcaret Destination as Mexico and Central America’s Leading Conference Hotel

Occidental at Xcaret Destination has hosted an array of large-scale conventions and conferences that incorporate the resort’s magnificent natural and cultural environments

MIAMI (August 1, 2019) – Occidental at Xcaret Destination, located in the heart of the Riviera Maya, has been recognized by the “Oscars of Tourism” — the prestigious World Travel Awards — during an awards gala that took place recently in La Paz, Bolivia.

Occidental at Xcaret Destination’s vast offerings — including 11 restaurants, 10 bars, seven swimming pools and a private bay — combined with its commitment to providing the best quality and service for guests, has made the resort WTA’s “Leading Conference Hotel of Mexico and Central America.” The 24-hour, all-inclusive resort offers 765 rooms and suites as well as 13,350 sq. ft. of meeting space surrounded by lush gardens and natural rivers.
