Vivo Resorts & Residences Offers Families a True Taste of Mexico

Oaxaca, Mexico, May 9, 2018 Vivo Resorts & Residences, a luxury oceanfront Resort and Real Estate development located along Oaxaca’s Emerald Coast, sets the standard for immersive family vacations. The hospitality development, created by two-time Olympian Cary Mullen with his parents’ retirement in mind, has become an oasis for family members of all ages who want to experience Mexico beyond its commonplace tourism offerings.

Located in Puerto Escondido, a friendly surfing community unspoiled by large-scale tourism, Vivo Resorts offers families the opportunity to fully experience Oaxaca’s unique culture and rich natural wonders. From a Kid’s Club partly designed by Mullen’s own children, to Spanish lessons, cooking lessons, coffee plantation tours, surfing, paddle boarding and snorkeling, families can learn new skills and enjoy a vacation beyond sunbathing.

“I wanted to create an experience that actually made people feel better after it was done. Travelers sometimes go through the motions of leisure vacations where they eat and drink too much, lounge too much and feel sluggish upon returning home. Vivo was crafted with the goal of shifting that perception. Here, guests feel rejuvenated after their time with us. A combination of organic, mindful food, wellness treatments, an array of interactive activities including Beach Volleyball, Yoga and Aqua Aerobics, a Meditation Zone at our Spa and volunteering opportunities like the “Donate a Day” program set the tone for a truly enriching vacation,” said President  Founder, Cary Mullen.
The resort also boasts an infinity swimming pool with a swim-up bar, a family activity pool with a water slide, a fully equipped ocean-view fitness facility with a separate yoga/fitness class studio and spacious suites ranging from studios to four-bedroom accommodations to welcome all families, small and large. All suites are equipped with a full kitchen, washer and dryer and drinkable water and complement the true ocean front vistas with crafts from local Oaxacan artisans. A new beachfront infinity pool with swim-up bar and snack bar is set to open during the summer 2018.
