Seattle, WA, March 21, 2018— UnCruise Adventures has expanded its theme cruise offering in 2018 with the addition of an Alaska Insider theme, which features a variety of experts that have lived and breathed Alaska.
The small ship cruise line released its full theme cruise schedule with other adventures planned for marine biology, photography, storytellers, ornithology, craft beer, nostalgic music, wine and wellness.
In conjunction with the Alaska Awakening campaign which highlights the benefits of cruising in Southeast Alaska in spring, the Alaska Insider theme will be exclusive to April and May departures. Guest experts include authors, memoirists, glaciologists, and bear and salmon experts, nature writers, a historian, ethnobotanist, marine ecologist, as well as cultural heritage guides from Alaska Native Voices.
“We want to bring guests up close with nature, wildlife and all the beauty Alaska offers,” said Captain Dan Blanchard, CEO. “The opportunity to have experts on board that have lived, breathed and studied their area of expertise in Alaska is another way to bring our guests closer to the land.”
Alaska Insider theme cruises are offered aboard the 74-guest Wilderness Explorer, 60-guest Wilderness Adventurer, the 76-guest Wilderness Discoverer, the 84-guest Safari Endeavour, the 36-guest Safari Explorer and the 86-guest S.S. Legacy.
