True Ranch Collection Arizona Dude Ranches Among USA Today 10Best

Tucson, Arizona – True Ranch Collection is proud to announce that two of its historic southern Arizona dude ranches have been named among the country’s best by the USA Today 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards. White Stallion Ranch placed second and Rancho de la Osa placed ninth in this year’s “Best Dude Ranch” contest. The two ranches were nominated to a selection of 20 finalists by a panel of USA Today editors and other travel experts, then voted on by visitors to the 10Best website over four weeks.

“We’re honored that USA Today 10Best voters again ranked two of our ranches among the best in the country,” said Russell True, managing partner of True Ranch Collection. “Our brand of dude ranching means staying true to the history and identity of each of our properties. We feel we’re able to offer an authentic western experience that honors the history of these ranches.”

White Stallion Ranch is a historic dude ranch on the west side of Tucson, bordering Saguaro National Park. It has been owned and operated by the True family for more than 55 years, and offers a year-round, family-friendly dude ranch experience. Guests can enjoy outdoor adventures like horseback riding, hiking, rock climbing, shooting, archery and fat-tire electric bike tours, or relax with resort-style amenities like a full-service spa, fitness center, sport courts, heated pool and hot tub.

True family member Russell True founded Ranch Preservation Holdings, LLC, with partner Jaye Wells to preserve and manage additional historic dude ranches within the True Ranch Collection, including Rancho de la Osa.

Located in Sasabe, along the U.S.-Mexico border and adjacent to the Buenos Aires National Wildlife Refuge, Rancho de la Osa is rich in Southwestern charm. It features a Spanish-style Hacienda and is home to the longest continually operated building in Arizona, built in 1722 by Jesuit missionaries and now the ranch’s Cantina. It has also hosted many prominent figures throughout the years including politicians, actors and celebrities. Guests can enjoy horseback riding, hiking and UTV tours amid the area’s unique high-desert grasslands, as well as shooting and archery, or relax by the ranch’s outdoor pool and in its rich Southwestern charm.

Outside of Arizona, True Ranch Collection offers authentic western experiences at historic dude ranches in Montana and Wyoming.
