August 30, 2017 (Omaha, NE) – Travelex Insurance Services (Travelex) and Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance Company’s Berkshire Hathaway Travel Protection (BHTP) have formed a strategic relationship to provide innovative travel protection plans under the name of Travelex with the underwriting and claims services of BHTP.

 

This strategic relationship brings together the financial strength, product underwriting, and claims handling of BHTP with the extensive sales and marketing expertise and vast, long-standing travel provider network of Travelex, with the intent of bringing a high level of service, product innovation and claims handling expertise and expediency to travel professionals and their clients.
