TravelAI ranks No. 16 on Deloitte’s 2026 Technology Fast 50 with more than 2,000% revenue growth

Vancouver-based travel memory company named one of Canada’s fastest-growing technology companies

VANCOUVER, Canada, Oct. 28, 2026 – TravelAI, The Travel Memory Company™, today announced it ranked No. 16 on the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 for 2026, a ranking of the 50 fastest-growing technology companies in Canada. TravelAI recorded revenue growth of 2,058% from 2022 to 2025.

To mark the recognition, TravelAI co-founder and CEO John Lyotier joined leaders from some of Canada’s top technology companies to ring the opening bell at the Toronto Stock Exchange earlier today.

The Deloitte Technology Fast 50 program ranks Canadian technology companies by percentage revenue growth. To qualify for the 2026 ranking, companies had to be headquartered in Canada, invest at least 5% of revenue in research and development, own proprietary technology that generates the majority of their revenue, and earn at least $50,000 CAD in 2022 and $5 million CAD in 2025. Deloitte reviews and verifies all applications to the program, which was built to celebrate innovation, revenue growth, entrepreneurial spirit, and world-class achievement within the Canadian technology industry.

“Ranking No. 16 among Canada’s fastest-growing technology companies is a proud moment for our team,” said John Lyotier, co-founder and CEO of TravelAI. “We’ve grown quickly while remaining founder-owned and profitable, and we’ve done it by building technology from inside the travel industry. That experience has given us a clear view of what comes next. As AI changes how people plan and book travel, we believe memory will become essential to making those experiences more personal, more useful, and more trustworthy.”

TravelAI has grown its AI infrastructure business alongside a global portfolio of travel brands, most recently acquiring and relaunching Sonder.com in July 2026. That operating experience continues to inform what the company is building for the wider travel industry.

At the centre of that work are four connected pillars: memory, trust, governance, and distribution. Memory gives travelers a way to carry what matters with them rather than starting from zero. Trust keeps the traveler in control of what is shared and with whom. Governance gives businesses the ability to manage, trace, and audit how memory and AI are used. Distribution puts that context to work across the places where travelers plan and book.

In June 2026, TravelAI launched Traveler.md in public beta, giving travelers a portable, traveler-owned memory for their preferences, plans, and context that can be brought into AI tools including OpenAI’s ChatGPT and Anthropic’s Claude. TravelAI is also developing the Governed Memory Platform to give businesses greater visibility, control, and accountability over how AI is used across their organizations.

“As AI takes on more of the work involved in planning and booking travel, context becomes incredibly important,” added Brianna MacNeil, Director, AI Products & Personalization, at TravelAI. “Travelers shouldn’t have to trade control of their information for a more personal experience. The opportunity is to build technology that can remember what matters while keeping the traveler in control of how that information is used. That’s what we’re working toward.”

Technology Fast 50 winners are also eligible for Deloitte’s North American Technology Fast 500, announced in November. TravelAI ranked No. 187 on the 2025 Deloitte Technology Fast 500.
