Travel Planners International (TPI) Champions the Future with the Appointment of a Director of Innovation

MAITLAND, FL – JULY 9, 2024 – Travel Planners International, a leading host travel agency renowned for its commitment to excellence and innovation, has created a new role titled the Director of Innovation to ensure the company and its advisors stay ahead of technological changes in the travel industry. The Director of Innovation will play a pivotal role in driving the strategic initiatives of TPI, harnessing the power of artificial intelligence (AI), and integrating innovative practices into their operations. TPI’s Elisabeth McGuire has officially taken on this unique role of Director of Innovation, with Jennifer Freeman officially becoming the Marketing Manager.

“We are excited to announce these well-deserved promotions,” Erwing Hernandez, Senior Vice President at TPI, said. “Elisabeth and Jennifer have consistently demonstrated incredible skills, and their new roles will enable them to innovate and lead their respective teams to new heights. This move strengthens our leadership team and positions us for continued success.”

With nearly 10 years at TPI, McGuire is assuredly prepared for this thrilling shift. As the Director of Innovation, she will work closely with various departments to ensure the implementation of cutting-edge solutions and foster a culture of continuous improvement. This is an uncommon yet ingenious business development, especially within the travel industry. As AI continues to evolve in the modern world, it has begun to affect companies and travel advisors worldwide. However, TPI boldly and proudly aims to grow and thrive, utilizing this technology and an innovative philosophy.

“As the newly appointed Director of Innovation for TPI, I am excited to embrace the Day 1 Mentality, driving continuous improvement and leveraging cutting-edge solutions to transform the travel industry,” commented McGuire. “Our commitment to innovation ensures that TPI stays ahead of the curve, empowering our travel advisors and partners to deliver exceptional experiences in an ever-evolving world.”

TPI’s goal is to educate their travel advisors on AI and how to future-proof their business. This mindset also aligns with Freeman as she steps into the role of Marketing Manager (which was previously held by McGuire before she was promoted). Acting as the Interim Marketing Manager for the past six months and being a part of the TPI Team for 1.5 years, Freeman is ready to take on this official role as she oversees both the Education and Marketing Teams at TPI.

“I appreciate this opportunity to grow within the company, and I look forward to working with our talented team to develop and enhance our marketing strategy,” Freeman stated. “Together, we will continue to innovate and drive success for TPI and our valued travel advisors.”

TPI is ecstatic to make this special and important announcement as they continue to grow, adapt, and thrive in the modern travel industry.
