Travel Planners International Teams Up with Royal Caribbean for Partner of the Month

January 12th, 2018 – We’ve kicked off 2018 and Wave Season by choosing Royal Caribbean International (RCI) as our Partner of the Month. Over the next 4 weeks, RCI will be promoted to our 4,000+ agents in, what we call, a surround sound approach. They’ll be featured throughout our agent-only portal, TPICENTRAL, our phone greetings, weekly eblasts, multiple Facebook Lives, email signature, and consumer facing platforms.

“We are so honored to be part of this long-standing partnership and friendship,” said Vicki Freed, Royal Caribbean International’s Senior Vice President of Sales, Trade Support and Service. “Just like a great marriage, we both share the same values and passion for our travel agents and for delivering the best vacations to our clients.”

While explaining why RCI was picked, Jenn Lee, Vice President of Sales and Marketing said, “Small business owners are a part of their core, like it is in ours. We both support the entrepreneurial spirit which is why we get along so well.”

Recently, Freed and Lee hosted a Q&A session on all things Wave and “closing the deal” via Facebook Live on TPI’s private Facebook group where over 400 agents watched and interacted in real time.

“Royal Caribbean is my top supplier because they make it easy to do business with them by maintaining the highest levels of quality,” said Korrine Johnson, owner of Journeys Travel Company and agent with Travel Planners International. “[They] make sure I’m always informed so I can offer my clients the best value on the best product.”

RCI will debut the world’s largest cruise ship, Symphony of the Seas, in April 2018 and will host TPI Rocks, our annual conference, aboard Harmony of the Seas in August 2018.
