Travel Planners International – May Partner of the Month – AmaWaterways

May 1st, 2018 – April showers bring May flowers and our next Partner of the Month! We’re honored to have AmaWaterways as Travel Planners International’s (TPI) Partner of the Month. Over the course of the next five weeks, our TPI agents will see AmaWaterways front and center as we’ll highlight them on all our agent-facing communication channels. We call it our “surround-sound” approach meaning they’ll be featured on our agent-only portal, email signatures, and a private Facebook Live broadcasted to over 1,850 agents, among other avenues.

Why Them?

Here at TPI, we’re big on family – it’s hard not to be! The Gagliano family opened TPI 30 years ago and are still very much involved today. We treat our agents like family, we even call them TPI Family Members. So, it’s important for us that our Preferred Suppliers embody that mentality. AmaWaterways does.

“Just like us, AmaWaterways is family-owned and operated,” said Jenn Lee, VP of Sales and Marketing at TPI. “They get our approach and how we do business because they’re doing the exact thing.”

Echoing on Lee’s statement, Diane Horan, Regional Director at AmaWaterways, said, “It has been rewarding to watch our businesses grow together. The entire AmaFamily (Ed note: see, they’re just like us) is happy to be a part of the TPI Family, and our business model strategy will continue to focus 100% on our strong partnership and support of [TPI’s] travel agent network.”

Another reason why we’re ecstatic to have AmaWaterways as our Partner of the Month is that our agents love them! They get the help they need to get their business booming as well as receive competitivepromos and incentives.

“AmaWaterways provides wonderful educational tools for every agents’success,” said Lauren Williams, travel agent at Trip Quest Travel. “Our BDM… came alongside us to provide a great cruise luncheon and evening event as we were trying to get our river cruise sales ‘flowing’. We were able to put a group together as well as book several [FIT] bookings.”

And to Williams’ point, our AmaWaterways business is blooming – much like those May flowers.
